Flamingo in Watercolor | Final Painting video

Watercolor Flamingo painting final video.
In this video I continue to add more contrast in places which need to appear darker. I have also applied 'negative painting' using a darker colour to define the feathers and to add depth. I then created an interesting background using Cobalt blue paint, applying salt over the top whilst the painting is still slightly wet. Then brushing the salt away once the paint had dried. This gives the illusion of a summery background.
