This is a beautiful painting Michelle!!! I used to be so afraid of painting white flowers with watercolor but it’s become my favorite thing ! Funny how that happens when we are struggling with something- we take the time to learn and then not so scary at all! This is going to be a great tutorial to help artists actually paint a white flower with watercolor!

Your Purple Finch in watercolors is beautiful, Michelle! We get lots of House Finches here in Iowa, but once in a while a Purple Finch makes an appearance and they are so fabulous with their sublime clear colors- the perfect subject for watercolors. You did them justice, Michelle! Beautiful.
