I point out that both of you guys faced moments of irresponsibility not so you can feel bad, but because it's hard to find genuine friendships nowadays. man, I know I am going to get negative attention for this, but I am a little disappointed at Sarah's behavior. Both Christel's drinking and Sarah's drinking majorly contributed to their challenges during this trip. Imagine how things could have gone if you took the alcohol out of the situation. I get it, I've done similar things in my life, and things that are much worse. I've locked keys in the car while camping. I've gotten so drunk I blacked out and lost my cellphone, which other people were depending on. I'm not really sitting in judgement of that part. Everyone makes mistakes. But, this story ends with the ladies drinking white claw and unpacking the van late. talk about 'hair of the dog'. I am starting to get a little concerned.

She wanted to help her but she was physically not able to. She did what she could though, even drove. She is still human and friends are not 100% perfect all the time. The shoes and the key were both accidents but the gravity of both situations were not the same. The shoes could be easily replaced but the keys were expensive, costed their means of transportation and potentially could ruin a business relationship.
Both of them were extremely stressed - I don’t think it’s fair to judge their relationship on a extremely stressful situation that they have not encountered before.

Have you ever been to a music festival? Her friend didn't text her until the end of the night. It's an incredibly exhausting experience and she didn't have the mental capacity or energy to deal with it. She also mentioned how badly her feet were hurting her. She was also drinking and understandably upset over her friend losing the one thing she stressed not to lose. She was obviously at her breaking point. I would've done the same thing she did because if i'd met up w my friend we would def get in an argument and it would only make the situation worse. Her friend lost the keys so it's her responsibility to find it. And of course she's sorry, if she weren't that would make her a shitty person. But that doesn't mean Sarah is obligated to help her find the keys. She lost it because she was careless and irresponsible, why should Sarah have to suffer the consequences. There are so many factors in this scenario. It's not like she lost the keys at 2pm in a grocery store. I don't think it's cool to insinuate Sarah is a bad friend after considering all the factors mentioned in the video.

I absolutely love Sarah and she's easily one of the most down to earth/fun influencers there is. BUT, imagine if this situation happened in a relationship. Like a girlfriend losing the keys, and then the boyfriend leaving her to sleep somewhere else. On top of the girlfriend being so drunk that she "couldn't see anything". I feel like the reaction would've been a lot different. It just feels like it was extremely unsafe situation to put her in and, regardless of what happened, you both agreed to go to Coachella and camp together meaning you should watch out for each other.
She wasn’t entirely alone though, she had gone with her own group of friends same as Sarah. Now I don’t know at what point Christel and her group split but yeah that was really unsafe. Can’t entirely be put on Sarah though, as she was also with her own group and drunk. Messy situation for sure

She wanted to help her but she was physically not able to. She did what she could though, even drove. She is still human and friends are not 100% perfect all the time. The shoes and the key were both accidents but the gravity of both situations were not the same. The shoes could be easily replaced but the keys were expensive, costed their means of transportation and potentially could ruin a business relationship.
Both of them were extremely stressed - I don’t think it’s fair to judge their relationship on a extremely stressful situation that they have not encountered before.

Have you ever been to a music festival? Her friend didn't text her until the end of the night. It's an incredibly exhausting experience and she didn't have the mental capacity or energy to deal with it. She also mentioned how badly her feet were hurting her. She was also drinking and understandably upset over her friend losing the one thing she stressed not to lose. She was obviously at her breaking point. I would've done the same thing she did because if i'd met up w my friend we would def get in an argument and it would only make the situation worse. Her friend lost the keys so it's her responsibility to find it. And of course she's sorry, if she weren't that would make her a shitty person. But that doesn't mean Sarah is obligated to help her find the keys. She lost it because she was careless and irresponsible, why should Sarah have to suffer the consequences. There are so many factors in this scenario. It's not like she lost the keys at 2pm in a grocery store. I don't think it's cool to insinuate Sarah is a bad friend after considering all the factors mentioned in the video.

I just saw this video and I am shocked about how she is selfish! She keeps repeating that it wasn’t her problem to fix because her friend lost the keys. I absolutely love Sarah and she's easily one of the most down to earth/fun influencers there is. BUT, imagine if this situation happened in a relationship. Like a girlfriend losing the keys, and then the boyfriend leaving her to sleep somewhere else. On top of the girlfriend being so drunk that she "couldn't see anything". I feel like the reaction would've been a lot different. It just feels like it was extremely unsafe situation to put her in and, regardless of what happened, you both agreed to go to Coachella and camp together meaning you should watch out for each other.

its so frustrating when the comments are like "christel lost the keys so it's HER responsibility and sarah shouldn't worry about it and leave her friend to handle everything". i get where this is coming from, but given the gravity of the situation (i.e., no mode of transportation, a hefty fine AND jeopardizing a business relationship) they should have been helping each other find a solution. like i get it fucking sucks and,understandably , she is allowed to be mad and not talk to her friend that first night - but when they reconciled the day after, it should have been a "yeah lets deal w this shit together" instead of getting super wasted and leaving her friend to sort everything out.
