@mrbaldbeard I had to double check the definition. You're right. When I think disjointed, I think of a hit box nowhere near where the character actually is. For example, the zeku hit box for his dp isn't attached to the character himself. Something along those lines. That being said, the hit box is more of less the same minus the part they chopped off. They just have it more forward movement
he pays the bills himself by being good, and sf5 made him, not 6. Also it's a nice thing that he doesn't shill for the game because ''it pays his bills''.
I think it's the same thing working to companies and jobs u don't like but you are doing it and staying coz tummy needs to eat, family needs to eat etc
Do the actual criticisms of the game from you and other top players/figures in the community, as well as general vibes from the community, reach the devs? And what avenues of social media do they get this info from? I think this is an important question because I find the weekly fgc discourse topic to be tiresome, not only due to its repetition, but also because I don't know if the devs actually listen to whatever is being talked about on Twitter or other forms of social media. I doubt that there is a direct communication channel between the fans and the developers because the sf6 playerbase has been complaining about the same issues for the past 1.5 years and they still have yet to be addressed, mainly the overwhelming offense and 50 50s. But I cannot exactly blame them because Twitter is not an appropriate place to get valid feedback unfortunately. And it really sucks because idk about you, but I sense a severe lack of happiness or excitement from all top players that play the game and stream/make content for it, making the game's competitive scene feel extremely dry and fake. This is a very long comment but I think all top players and commentators from each region should come together and have a biannual "state of the game" roundtable dedicated to explaining what they want kept and changed for the game they play, so that, if the devs do want to have actual player feedback from top players, there is at least a source they can turrn to for information. This is because I doubt that Twitter discourse actually reaches them. And if Twitter discourse does not reach them, then it is literally a waste of time.
Your assumption is flawed in that the devs will ever prioritize the gameplay experience of the top 1% instead of the bottom 50%. They’re not dumb, they know about the 50 50 and the offense. They also know it appeals more to the casual playerbase who keeps the game alive. Idk why everyone keeps assuming the players are all big brained and the devs are dumb. The devs know. They just dont give a shit, they have games to sell.
@@Shakenbake-in9ux Exactly, they pay the top players to advertise (hence the 1 million prize pool at CCC) but the patches are for the majority, the standard costumers. That being said, it is weird that the game has so few skins. They launched SFV as an esports game but pushed out skins like it was Fortnite. SF6 is an arcade fighter style game but has only 3 skins for each character. By this time Chun-li had like 7 skins in SFV lol, Akeman was doing work.
I haven't seen anyone besides iDom seriously complaining about SF6. There's complaints about individual aspects like the capcom cup format of course, but the game overall does not seem like people mind too much about it. Have you even looked at kimberlys stHp hitbox? It’s a disjoint lol, people just be making things up.
Assuming you're talking about the HP, it is disjointed, no hurt box where her arm is when she throws the move out.

My conspiracy theory on why Rashid isn't getting serious nerfs is that they need Saudi money.
