one direction deserves so much more than a single 5 minute reunion performance for the sake of the show ending. james deserves for his last show to be all about him and his experiences and memories. it's about james. not them. and a reunion is about them. not james.

I came in due to the clickbait, but stayed for James Cordon insightful and reflective answers to this interview. Very chill!
Thank you James for all the love and support. I wish you every success with the next chapter you undertake. Guys the boys need to all be safe and feel safe. Id hate for them to get back together under the same conditions. I love them but their health and happiness matter more than the 1D product. Until they under new management and have a supportive team I'm for the extended hiatus.
James has a real valid point: 1D should follow Take That (90s UK Boyband) example of a quality post-reunion success story in that way.
Also, we need to stop bringing it up all the time in social media and be patient with it, as well as comparing them to other bands with a similar story x

James has done really really really well since Gavin and Stacey days!.
Carpool Karaoke was so much better before they started only playing the artists own songs. There was more conversation, and it really felt like you were getting a peak at the the true personality of the person. It turned into a mildly entertaining greatest hits commercial.
I'd imagine agents would be pushing to get their artists songs out over others

@@JoanneJaworski I don't understand why everyone thinks there's going to be a 1D reunions, when 1D never wanted to be a band start with. But I'll set out to pursue their own careers and only stayed together because it was their only option in the beginning. Zayn hated their music and Liam was a total mess. They're better off doing their own thing.
@@debrasnipes7431 Maybe because they themselves keep hinting the reunion, like Harry said on the last show he would never say never to it and he doesnt see why they wouldnt reunite if they all want to. I hope James will use this time away from the TV to try and get rid of his ego. He needs to go to therapy. His narcissistic and arrogant attitude towards people needs to stop. He has annoyed producers, directors, actors, celebrities, restaurant staff, his own production team, Mathew Horne his former comedy partner, even Rob Brydon who starred with him in Gavin and Stacy said he has issues. Use this time now James to become a better man.
I think many people have issues and grouchy or mean behavior comes out even more when under pressure. The world seems to need "therapy" since so many people are frightened, angry and fight about everything!!!
@@JoanneJaworski The problem is James has a well tracked record of arrogance, going all the way back to his time in the UK when he starred in the hit comedy Gavin and Stacey. His own co-stars were concerned at his ego, to the point where his co-star Rob Byrdon pullled him over and told him so, that he had a terrible attitude, and it needed to change. Sadly it seems James never listened. He is well known for arrogance. So many directors who worked with him have said they found him stressful. For someone who was a virtual unknown in the US before 2015, I am shocked that he never humbled himself, and changed. Instead his success at CBS seemed to have made him worse. Reports from former CBS crew have said he is impossible to work for. He never treated his crew well, he ignored the audience and when people wanted to say hi, maybe try and get a selfie with him, he flew into a rage.
You hear what you have said about James and his attitude being unbearable…and yet he has managed to convey an impression of being a consistently kind guy…but his rise to fame on CBS must have fed the pre-existing ego that is described and been experienced by those around him. James does need to get a grip on it as it can end a legacy, like it has for Ellen DeG…you end up looking and listening to celebrities like James and question ‘is it really authentic?’ A pity to ever have to question, but the restaurant incident was an insight into a man being self-aggrandising and acting well above his station. 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ
Yeah, I guess that's why 80 to 90 percent of his staff have been with him since day one. As for that restaurant but, they better thank their lucky stars they didn't get sued we're trying to serve his wife food they were told she was allergic to. Every one of them should have been fired.
