    Great shot of Rathmines at 22 ...complete with tram lines....lived there 1964-75

    Great, thanks! That looked like me Grandpa with the cop......It was a crime when they took so much of the old cast iron from Dublin.

    Spent ages trying to figure out where the photo at 2:54 was. It looks like Store Street to me, looking from Busarus, but everything has changed.

    @buzzybender Yes, that's exactly what I've always thought. Instead of that spire Pearce's Pillar should be there. The statue on the pillar should have been replaced with one of Patrick Pearce reading the proclamation and the date of MDCCCV on the base should have been sanded out and replaced with MCMXVI.

      @beentheredonethat Yes, indeed they don't. They can't repair or reconstruct the many innocent lives they took or alleviate the pain they caused to their innocent victims' families.
