I'm 75 yrs old and from the late 1950s through the 1960s, Jackie was probably my favorite singer. From "Reet Petite", "To Be Loved", "Lonely Teardrops", "That's Why", "Danny Boy", "Please Tell Me Why", "Baby Workout" to "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me HIgher'" and more. I loved his voice and his song choices. You'll never go wrong reacting to any one of these songs.

This was my Auntie/Momma's favorite song. I lost her last year and her birthday just passed, so I appreciate you for this one.

Jackie was a performer of the highest degree. At the time I don't know if there was anyone better. I always liked this song. This is that bluesy sound.

@@Dabridge4009 That was the term back in the day when you broke up with somebody. Like, "How are my chances?", might be the opening line if a dude was trying to talk to you, like 'putting you down' would be the break up line.

Lil Brother I remember this from kindergarten, the young lady used to take me to school and then go on to her school, she borrowed this from my grandmother for a school dance and she put her name on so it wouldn’t get stolen and we kept her name on it and every time I saw that 45 it brought back memories. Jackie was the ish, that’s the original speed of that song, written by Berry Gordy.

The r&b group Klique had success with remakes of this song and To Be Loved. They're not Jackie but they did these songs justice.

The cat that inspired Micheal Jackson and Elvis Presley, but doesn't get any recognition. He was good friends with Sam Cooke.

You gotta hear Klique's version of this. Also their song"A Woman, A Lover A Friend." Jackie also influenced the lead singer of this group: Howard Huntsberry. He sounds alot like him.

I love this song, but when I found out that Jackie Wilson SA’d Patti Labelle, I lost all respect for him. I’m sure she was not the first nor the last one of his victims. Perhaps his treacherous ways is what led to him collapsing on stage at 41 of a heart attack and going into a coma for nearly 10 years before he finally died at the age of 49. Perhaps all his evil ways caught up with him.
From what I understand, some people can hear and understand what’s going on around them when they are in a coma. I hope his conscious bothered him for the whole time. I hope he had flashbacks of all the women he mistreated.
