Wao! That looks so yummy. I am definitely going to try this recipe. The only thing is that at beginning of the video I was getting a bit inpatient. I wish your introduction was a bit shorter. You can incorporate those intro comments during the process. But overall.. I love how detailed you were. ☺

I clean the stove while it's still relatively warm and this ensures that the grease stains don't have time to settle. I use the Home Depot brand degreaser (HDX, I believe?) I also use the scrubbing bubbles degreaser as well. Whenever I deep clean the stove, I gently use a brillo pad with some Bon Ami. I hope this helps!
Safety note if you're going to be cooking your platanos/plantains with that much oil keep the heat to medium heat and don't step away from the kitchen. I had my stove on high heat because I had so much oil then I stepped away from the kitchen. Next thing I know the house was smoking and fire alarms were going off because the oil had boiled over onto the hot burner and flames were shooting up in the air. Almost burned down the house.
