Imagine if coins also had collision and hurtboxes in this mode. Instead of a collectible, they become platforms to be jumped on, obstacles that can be bonked against, and hazards that can fall on you and kill you.

there's a whole game like that called It Takes Two, it's on PC and takes two players to complete the entire game. It's very fun!!

I love when the creators make a mod that slows down regular traversal, so to compensate, they make one of Mario's moves way better. Like how Wheelchair Mario in 64 speeds up the swimming to ludicrous speed.

The physics engine of this game is so versatile, that this could have been an actual cheat code for this game. You’re small, but your momentum takes account of your size and you can be launched further. It’s really impressive.

technically, mario is so small that he wouldn't be able to take damage from a fall, so the fall damage aspect doesn't make much sense, but i like how mario can die in one hit
why would being small prevent you from taking damage from a fall? if anything being smaller while having the same mass would increase your terminal velocity and thus the acceleration due to impact

Also an ant will have a lower terminal velocity than an ant sized human. Ants also have less mass so there is much less kinetic energy dissipated in the collision and that amount of energy is tolerable for the tough bodies of ants. as Elisabeth said it would be unreasonable to expect that a small human would have the same mass as a large human but in this specific example it was stated that that is the case by Smallant

I suspect that Mario’s jump in the 2D areas is measured in terms of Mario’s height to allow for easy game play tweaking.
i think its more that for the jump to look normal in the 3D, instead of it being unusually high, craftyboss changed mario's gravity scale and jump height accordingly to his size change, but doesn't change it in 2D areas where he's normal size

MOD IDEA: SMO but you have infinite propel flowers. To spice things up, Bonk=Death.
Don’t forget that propel flowers would disappear in captures.
FOR LAKE KINGDOM: If there is not enough moons outside of the water, I have 3 ideas:
-Remove any propel flower as you touch the water.
-Remove any propel flower as you ground pound in the water
-My favourite, if it works: Make the water like solid ground for Mario, but Cappy can go through. If the cheep cheep guarding the moon in the cavity is high enough, Cappy could reach it, and, some underwater moons would be possible.
If Crafty was able to make this, I would like to see you play it. Anyways, I really like your content. Continue like that!
