That is what I was worried about was the community feel. I tried TH-cam and was at it for 3 yrs and it didn’t work for me. TikTok is an app I jive with so well. I guess I’ll try instagram. If that doesn’t work I’m over it.
The TikTok ban has left me very disillusioned. As an author and content creator, I’ve had more success on TikTok in the last three years than I’ve had on TH-cam in twelve. TikTok also has a greater sense of community. On TH-cam, everyone is stuck in their corner doing their own thing, but TikTok’s algorithm will bring creators together. There’s a deeper sense of equality. Going back to the dark TH-cam days scares me.
I can definitely relate to that, I've had a lot of success on TikTok too and have really loved the platform. Even on reels, which tries to be essentially the same thing, it feels sooo different.
I have heard people talk bout this but is this actually happening? I have yet to see any news about this besides people just saying stuff like this. But even if it is taken away, then everyone will shift back towards instagram or TH-cam or whatever. There will always be another outlet. Things change. Change can be rough and scary but what if it opens better doors than we can imagine? We will be ok.

It's extremely likely to be banned in the USA come mid-January.
