One of the most underrated guitarists of all time. Michael should be WAAAAAAYYYY more famous than he actually is. However, he’s become kind of a guitarist’s guitarist....because he’s been awesome since the 70’s!!!
I'm so happy he brought this song back. When he and Gary got back they put it back into the list and it's got such a killer energy and vibe, I LOVE IT! Great lead break too. ROCK ON MICHAEL!!!!
Built to Destroy should've been a mega world wide hit album. This song and Gonna Make you Mine were singles. Radio friendly. Not guitar dominant but still had fantastic guitar riffs in them. And that was the end of MSG mark 1. If they were promoted right there's no question they would've been huge but it was like...we tried...time to move on. Still great stuff.

He’s not my favorite MSG singer for sure. Goes flat, sounds like a lounge singer sometimes. But I know a lot of people love Gary, and Schenker must as well.

yes his late 70s and early to mid 80s Guitar solos and rhythm is so beautiful sounding and he is the embodiment of Arena / Big Stadium Rock.
