very nice setup! i like to beleive the bits are supposed to be used with the extender, and its not a flaw of the ratchet.. my swistool spirit its different and the holster too. but i managed to squeeze a bit/socket of 7 and 8mm. sometimes a 125 knipex. your Facom is awesome but i cant find it in Romania. and i hate to buy from other countries due to long time deliverment. the victorinox itself has a serrated blade, plane or combo?

The perfect edc mini ratchet would have the handle end that is capable of securely holding double sided bits, especially from Wiha. But this is probably the next best thing 👍

I really like that Facom adjustable head. They don't sell the kit on Amazon here in the US. They do sell the ratchet and extention for around 65.00. I found another kit that I just ordered made by Gearwrench. Have you seen that one? I looked up one from Snap On but all they sell is Bluepoint.
No. But I like it too. This is a kit. Model 85035 micro driver set on Amazon. Very very affordable. I believe Gearwrench products are made in Taiwan. I went to misterworker.com and looked around. I really like that Facom kit with the security bits. R.180J31 from your video. Even on eBay its still over a hundred dollars. EBay shows you other examples too, but nothing like the Facom. Teng tools? Let me know what you think.

I do not see a ratchet equivalent to that of FACOM on their catalog. For the R.180 ratchet or the R.180J31 box, these products are quite expensive, this is normal for the high end. @@diezelle57 Teng tools was just one of the options that eBay gave me. I was curious if you had tried any of their micro ratchets. I haven't even looked at their catalog. The only thing I dont like about the Gearwrench equivalent of the Facom, is that it's almost seven inches long and it doesn't have the t-handle capabilities of the Facom.

Hello Dee :) The BOSCH, WERA and KS TOOLS ratchets that I presented previously hold the Leatherman bits well (without risk of leakage under vertical pressure).
You can find that ratchet as USAG 606 1/4” SK code U06060012 (also a facom brand. They are equal) and as TOPTUL, a Taiwanese brand of tool code GADW2701 or GADW3401 (with or without sockets)... I prefer original Victorinox ratchet. but I fit in the sheath of my Swisstool X plus 3.0339.l a 4" adjustable wrench.
As for the Victorinox ratchet, the bits do not hold under vertical force, which for me is prohibitive (in addition to the excessive price). No max torque is given, only 40 teeth (9°)...
@@diezelle57 For vertical force using vic. ratchet you are meant to use the bit adapter. If you want other 1/4 bit ratchets alternative in a really compact package... TOPEAK Rocket Lite ratchet. works almost as well as you wish and it is not expensive.
@@giuliogemino6407 No, a properly designed ratchet is supposed to hold a bit under force vertically. I point out to you that the extension is not sold with the ratchet which should therefore be sufficient on its own. All the mini ratchets that I associate with my Leatherman multi-tools (from noname to BOSCH, KSTOOLS, WERA) do not show this defect. On my channel I showed the issue I had with the 711L mini ratchet specifically designed for Leatherman's bit holder (bits not holding under vertical force) and the company sent me that same ratchet but corrected.
At 7 minutes there is an orage bit holder that you use to pack in the sheath with the facom pico. What is it, I intend to do the same setup. Thank you 😊

This ratchet you can also look under the names of Toptul, KS Tools , USAG or Prestacycle exactly the same ratchets its just rebranded.
as a budget option i got a mini ratchet from a rujoi bike tool set for 15 euros from amazon, works great, similar to a normal ratchet only smaller:)
very nice setup! i like to beleive the bits are supposed to be used with the extender, and its not a flaw of the ratchet..
my swistool spirit its different and the holster too. but i managed to squeeze a bit/socket of 7 and 8mm. sometimes a 125 knipex. your Facom is awesome but i cant find it in Romania. and i hate to buy from other countries due to long time deliverment. the victorinox itself has a serrated blade, plane or combo?

The perfect edc mini ratchet would have the handle end that is capable of securely holding double sided bits, especially from Wiha. But this is probably the next best thing 👍

I really like that Facom adjustable head. They don't sell the kit on Amazon here in the US. They do sell the ratchet and extention for around 65.00. I found another kit that I just ordered made by Gearwrench. Have you seen that one? I looked up one from Snap On but all they sell is Bluepoint.

No. But I like it too. This is a kit. Model 85035 micro driver set on Amazon. Very very affordable. I believe Gearwrench products are made in Taiwan. I went to misterworker.com and looked around. I really like that Facom kit with the security bits. R.180J31 from your video. Even on eBay its still over a hundred dollars. EBay shows you other examples too, but nothing like the Facom. Teng tools? Let me know what you think.

Teng Tools? I do not see a ratchet equivalent to that of FACOM on their catalog.
For the R.180 ratchet or the R.180J31 box, these products are quite expensive, this is normal for the high end.
In France, on Amazon, the box is worth € 100.83 or about $ 120.

@@diezelle57 Teng tools was just one of the options that eBay gave me. I was curious if you had tried any of their micro ratchets. I haven't even looked at their catalog. The only thing I dont like about the Gearwrench equivalent of the Facom, is that it's almost seven inches long and it doesn't have the t-handle capabilities of the Facom.

You can find that ratchet as USAG 606 1/4” SK code U06060012 (also a facom brand. They are equal) and as TOPTUL, a Taiwanese brand of tool code GADW2701 or GADW3401 (with or without sockets)...
I prefer original Victorinox ratchet. but I fit in the sheath of my Swisstool X plus 3.0339.l a 4" adjustable wrench.
As for the Victorinox ratchet, the bits do not hold under vertical force, which for me is prohibitive (in addition to the excessive price).
No max torque is given, only 40 teeth (9°)...
@@diezelle57 For vertical force using vic. ratchet you are meant to use the bit adapter.
If you want other 1/4 bit ratchets alternative in a really compact package...
TOPEAK Rocket Lite ratchet. works almost as well as you wish and it is not expensive.
@@giuliogemino6407 No, a properly designed ratchet is supposed to hold a bit under force vertically. I point out to you that the extension is not sold with the ratchet which should therefore be sufficient on its own. All the mini ratchets that I associate with my Leatherman multi-tools (from noname to BOSCH, KSTOOLS, WERA) do not show this defect. On my channel I showed the issue I had with the 711L mini ratchet specifically designed for Leatherman's bit holder (bits not holding under vertical force) and the company sent me that same ratchet but corrected.

Je sus tombé par erreure sur un de vos video. Encore avec ce fond de jungle. Ok vos problème avec la voix mais au moi changez la musique de fond. Pour quelcunqui «était» votre fun e qui a vu un tas de vos vidéo c’est devenue insupportable. Même occasionnellement.
