Well you can't just buy grenades so use smoke nades for the canister and action system and just change the original contents for homemade nade internals

M67 frag grenades have a timed fuse basically as long as you are holding the spoon once you pull the pin you are safe no need to count because you are still holding the mechanism in place but when you throw it you release the mechanism which basically sets off the timer and once it lands the person close has 2-6 second to gtfo, as that's how long it can be for detonation after that grenade leaves your hands. so you throw it it flies through the air for 4 second and then lands meaning you have two seconds to gtfo, pro tip don't try and throw it back if it lands 5ft away from you I'd just run but if it lands right at your feet kick the fucker away from you as far as you can, throwing it back or trying to is not recommended 😂

All grenades have some type of explosive material to set them off. That is how the smoke grenade explodes. White phosphorus grenades also have some explosive material. They are just as dangerous as frags. If you did any type of military service, you'll understand.
