- Welcome back to my 3rd VLOG on my customised Rebel 500 Special Edition.
In today's video I address the most common questions I receive about the bike. These are;
What aftermarket handlebars should I buy?
Should I change the seat?
How can I make the suspension better?
If hou have seen a mod on this bike, then I have another video on my channel showing how it was installed. The direct link to the part is also found in the description section of each video that is posted. I am now no longer answering any enquiries for questions that are covered in videos or are detailed in the description of that relevant video.
Attention 2023 +owners! Here's the link to the relay that Honda decided to remove for you so that you now have to buy it as well as the genuine accessories socket to power a USB device - / 1496825434180210

Do you have any suggestions to add power? I haven't found anyone on here talking about it at all.
@@johnnyvida2079 changing exhaust does nothing but sound, air filter does nothing either so nobody bothers. I'd like more power but the bike is a commuter and gets me to and from work just fine
20 minutes is mostly my attention span! Perfect video! THANK YOU!
Mate, absolutely killer looks, awesome job and thanks for the vid
Fantastic video clears up a lot of misconceptions around the bike I have 30,000km on my rebel and she has not skiped a beat Fantastic bike
(South side Brisbane)
Finally! Juzzie is back
Best looking Rebel I seen
Thanks bro👍
TOP JOB! 🖤🖤🖤
that rebel looks sooo good, nice work!
Thanks 👍
NICE!
Its a perfect machine ❤💪💪💪
As one of the few Americans under 80kg (65ish at 5'8) thanks for the suspension tip.
Same seat as mine mate. Purchased 03/2022 in Moss Street
I never understood the "seat" issues with this bike. I'm 6'7, 120kgs, and have never really noticed it at all. Great video man, love what you've done to the bike.
Thanks for watching and enjoy the videos. I have sold the bike now but get comments each day 👍
Just bought a new 2023 Rebel 500. Really like the wheel covers.
Thanks they are a real head turner 👍
U can change the spring in 5 steps if u heavy
Setting up my 2023 rebel se very similar..
Your bike gave me inspiration to to change look ..... I'm in Mackay. My bike has aproxx same kms....Have u found any were for a new speendo meter with rpms on it.. my muffler is a twin...I'm very light. 60kg ..bike loves my weight
I absolutely love what you did with the bike. Where did you get the engine cover part? That fills in the gaps beautifully, gives it a bit of bulk!
Kspeed. Check my previous install video with the links to purchase it👍
Do u know of an SC Project exhaust for the 1100? I want something more sporty that doesn't cover the rear tire for my 1100.
My seat problem wasn't I was getting sore, it was whenever I'd pin the bike down I felt like there was nothing keeping me from sliding backwards and I was holding myself up by the bars. I did have suspension issues though and I dint know of its the same on the 500, but the 1100 has adjustable preload. The factory setting on the bike is like 3 clicks up out of 20. I went up to 7 and I rarely feel anything anymore. That in combination with a gunslinger style seat and I'm firmly planted now.
The 500 has 5 steps of preload but only once you make the move to a fully adjustable set will you see it's a world of difference 👍. Sliding on the seat is a subjective thing, it could be anything from your size on a 1100 through to the type of material of your pants. The main point is your happy with the factory adjustment.
i wish i can do all the things that you did too....
Looking at getting my first bike, saw a rebel in the showroom and felt a bit meh about it. But after seeing what you have done with it i may have changed my mind!
And for not a lot of money either👍
@@TweakedGSX how much would you say all your mods cost at the end of the day?
Will these mods be compatible with rebel 500 2023 model
i have a 2021 rebel 500 and i want it to look like yours, where can i buy parts i live in CA
Hey, that is one sexy bike!!
what i really want to know is where you got those rims!! love them!!
I can’t find those for the 1100
Hi there. I've bought a 2022 Rebel and have been trying to watch all your mods vids. Your bike looks great. You briefly mentioned some paint you used to black out some nuts (from bunnings I think), but I can't find the right video where you mention it. Can you let me know what you used?
Supercheap auto. Dupli-Color High Heat with ceramic black 👍
Changing the suspension would be fine. But you will want to change the seat too.
No I won't. I've never wanted to and have covered this many times in my videos
Can you please make a video how you installed the license plate holder? With cables, etc. 🙏
It was mentioned in my rear shorty fender video mate
That is awesome!!!! Where did u do the upgrades? Did u do the upgrades yourself? What approximately cost to these upgrades? Thank you
Great job
All of my videos show an upgrade for the bike. Every video has the links in the descriptions. Subscribe and check them out 👍
How were those cheap bar end mirrors? You mentioned you changed back to the diablo ones the other way up, but they look a bit long for me.
All of them work just fine. I just like to change it up. Also, folding the mirrors is convenient but also monotonous. Who knows what will be next 😁
Hey mate. Did you change your mirrors from the previous bar end mirrors? From 'below' , to more 'out'. Keen to hear the difference.
I've had about 3 or 4 different mirrors which you can see on my IG. I currently am riding with the K-Speed mirrors in the flipped up position.
yey :)
Do you know if the k-speed mods and so on can be installed on regular version of the rebel? i am assuming yes, but i haven't seen it answered anywhere. Would be a bummer if some parts wouldnt fit... :
Yes they are the same. Special edition only refers to black forks and gators
I love everything about your bike except for that that spine thing on your gas tank.
Thanks
I have a cb500x and I put an after market exhaust that's much lighter, louder and less restrictive. I haven't been able to find any information on how to eliminate the popping while slowing down in gear. Is there a solution?
If you install one of the silencers that I show in my first Rebel video it will remove the pops. The restriction will also rob some power. The only other way is a remap of the ecu which is a lot costlier and not really worth it on less than 1000cc
Hi, so nice what you did with the rebel 500. Im considering to buy one aswell, but i doubt between the rebel and vulcan 650. May i ask how tall you are? Im 6’6 and fear i look stupid on the rebel. Im going to a honda dealer next week. I know i will need the forward controls.
He is 170cm.
1100 or Vulcan I think is better suited. The 500 would be a bit underpowered for you. Thank you for the props. If you do end up buying one happy to help with any questions.
Your in Brisbane right?
I am a local stunt rider and I have had a rebel since 2017 and I was going to start a stunt build on my 2017. Would you be interested in doing some videos on it for some good content?
Thanks for the offer but I only show my own content or close friends that I'm working on in. Good luck with your endeavours👍
Where did you buy the tailtidy sir? 😊
Kspeed. CHeck my history of videos for the install
This is 2022 does all of this stocks apply to 2023 ?
Stocks?
Do you still have the rim black gards
Yes all fine
Will you sale the brown. Seat ?
No sorry I'm keeping everything
Are these mods for the 1100 too
Please see my latest Rebel video
Which bikes headlight is this bro?
Check my history of videos for the headlight install and description.

Hey check my videos and you will see the link in the shock review description
Try it woth 10 or 12 ape hanger bars
@@maurice5726 nah they look ugly
@@TweakedGSX okay it’s just my opinion we all have different taste in styles cause I’m a metalhead I love hardcore aesthetics mine has ape hangers and customized glossy body and chrome everything and has flame painted like Harley cause I can’t afford it Rebel is a great bike that will last for me and cheap on maintenance
@@maurice5726 I dont own this bike anymore mate, look in my video history 👍
Nice bike...does it come in automatic?
The 1100 has an automatic version I think
Do you have a link to all your mods
Hi Tim, I see you're new here. Have a look at all my videos and read the descriptions. Then ask me what you need to know. Cheers.

I feel attacked! 😂

😳 "promosm"
Lol, all of this is out of my own pocket buddy
All parts are illegal in europe lol
There are many people with these parts following me on IG
@@TweakedGSX yeah i do the same :D but without a abe number its not allowed in austria / germany
To say that you haven't had any problems with the bike isn't really a possibility because you haven't rode it that much.
It gets ridden as my commuter to and from work and it's not a far distance. Whenever it rains I don't ride
It's a honda not a harley, he probably won't ever have problems.
