Good luck at the WSOP Will. Your jokes are really funny. I'm going to play event #31 (half PLO and half Holdem) because I really enjoy that format and then another trip at the end of June to play #64, and maybe #68 and #70 depending on how I do.
5:57 There's an old man who plays ay my local casino $2 Texas Holdem game who only ever plays AA, KK, and AK. If you see him betting or raising, flee for your life. If you see him calling he's got at least two pair or better.
@@Nohea66 No, these types lose over time because they only ever win the blinds. It's just a very slow way of losing money over time, especially when you're that predictable
Yeah that first hand plays itself… You just call his three bet, catch a queen on the flop and raise his c bet. He jams and you call. King on the river. Nothing changes lol. And about the Indiana Jones joke.. Wow, just wow. Lol. I did not see where that was going 😅
Hey man great videos. New sub here. Quick question. On that JJ hand you folded, what did you put your opponent on? Also, I’m wondering if he could’ve been over-valuing his hand. Btw, I’m relatively a poker newb so just tryna learn. Thx
Hey man, thanks for the question. I think his most likely holding was probably some sort of 3x, like A3. People don't bluff a lot in these spots and if he had thin value like an overpair or pocket pair, I don't think he would start going for value on the river rather than earlier streets.
Bro you played 4 ways the chance is big that someone hits the trips. Also he could value top 2 pair who you beat with JJ and 33. If you go milky you need to be sure that your good otherwise its seems weak asf
rake is what the house typically takes as a cut. in 99% of poker rooms, the house takes a small portion of the pot after each hand; this typically adds up to hundreds or thousands of dollars from each table per day. in portland, there is no rake, and the players pay $20 for the entire day. it's way better for the players.
if it makes you feel any better, i would snap called too. - Similar happened to me last night, I decided to slow play trip 10's.- I was doing well until the turn where he went all in and I snap called him cause why wouldn't I? We were both all in and I would have took him out if I won. I didn't. - flips over jacks and he had like 5% chance of winning... River comes... Jack. I wasn't mad though, I just laughed. - I would have lost regardless of pushing all in after the flop or not. - shit happens.
those charts assumes your opponent is playing the same chart. Wait earlier you say you don't call with QQ then 5 minutes later you call with QQ ???????????????????????????????????????
Damn, your play is almost 100% opposite of mine. Some plays are better than mine, but so many : mainly your huge river overbets, are just plain....well, there is a whole lot to improve there.

He gets that from solvers. Low stakes one shouldn't use that sizing as often though
Well, as in other poker "vlogs" is missing substance (some -as this one funny though), pretending they ate all knowledge, "putting opponents on the hand, talking ranges and GTO" mot realizing that the game went over the years full 360 and simple ABC without wishful thinking takes the money. For anything else there are craps tables and slot machines. Only one way it works for me: make plan for EACH dealt hand you considering playing and most of possible flops before putting chips in, it does not mean match or fold it just prepares tools-strategy to continue . If nothing else it at least suppresses emitting any tells...
Does any of it really matter? The discussion of the 1st hand I mean. If you don't 4 bet, you flop a set; you're going nowhere, ever. But neither is he with his overpair. It's the same end result just different roads to the ultimate destination.
Why do you and other youtubers put your chips in the middle with like a little girly flourish? It's pretty weird. Not sure why people don't just push or let go of them.
it was a stroke!!! LOL Great vid, keep up the content, and best of luck on the felt!!!
Thanks man, appreciate it! Best of luck with your recovery lol
4:03 Justin super fun playing with you
4:04 404 error occurs and Justin disappears.
Even if you had not gone all-in preflop, the result would have been the same. You flop nuts and he gets lucky on the river.
For sure, there was no way I was going to survive this hand. It just feels terrible getting it in stone dead pre

Those PLO/hold em events are incredible, I'm definitely going to try and play one. GL on both your trips!
Bet pot when you have two high diamonds in PLO, you will win each time you do. I can FEEL it.

How often does he win? would you say his profit margins are solid?

FIRST LFG! Another solid vlog and enjoy the WSOP man. No trip for me this year so I'll be living vicariously through you.
Thanks man. I'll have to call someone a mother-bluffer in your honor
That “I’m not in the mood” comment really woke up the poker gods
Best poker in youtube! keep em coming!

I love watching your videos. May I ask what do you use for vlogging and is it okay for the casino or need a permission to vlog? Thank you!
never had suited aces unless I play with 2 decks
"Fck you Daniel your string cheese was delicious"....😂😂😂, subscribed 🎉
We will get them next time Will. Keep up the great content
Whats low jack / high jack, another name for the blinds?
K's vs Q's put me out of a tournament just last night.

I don’t understand 11:40 what happen? So if someone has a 2 and it’s the same suit as a pair you have, you automatically win or something? I’m lost.
The other guy had an 8 to go with the 2, which meant he had three of a kind
Why didnt the guy bet on the river tho he basically had the nuts
I'm not Daniel but I would appreciate a string cheese from my favorite poker youtuber
I don't know poker, I like the channel, but from the video title I thought he was playing some kind of new 2 deck game
I think that dealer was as surprised as you at that hand...
I love how you have a running stack total.
How do these poker places work? How much do you have to pay just to play there? The house must take a cut right?
depends on the location. in most clubs in portland, it's just a $20 fee to play the entire day with zero rake. other cities have different rules
@@4betblind what does zero rake mean?

Bro we miss your posts!!!
How do you possibly not bet with that A of clubs bluff? You can expose the A and then bet like $160. They'll fold most of the time.
Didn't see much about suited aces here.
Nice video enjoyed it
Thanks Keith!

“Suited aces”?
Yes. As in the group of hands that have an ace and a lower card of the same suit.
Very common terminology.
