Thanks for this video Melissa. I respect your positivity and what you have been through. I appreciate how accurately and proficient you are at describing the benzo healing journey.

I'm at 36 months off. I had a massive wave at 34 months off that sounds a lot like the one you had. I was doing okay for the whole year before that. I honestly wonder if something happens to us benzo harmed patients nervous system around the 30 month off mark?? I'm sorry you're going through this because I know how terrifying and exhausting it is. I'm glad to hear you're slowly coming out of it and pray this is the last wave you ever go through 🙏💜

It's wonderful to hear and see your happiness! I'm only 47 days off / I was force CT after tapering almost 2 years. I wish I could tell you I don't feel afraid that I'm permanently going to suffer from this brain injury. I do want to acknowledge that I also have hope, it may not feel as strong as the fear, but it is there. I'm happy to have come across your videos. Thanks you for providing hope and encouragement. 💛

So refreshing to find someone who tells it like it is. I'm on Benzo buddies, but constantly get told will only recover if I am more poisitive blaming me for still being like this. Can I ask if infections made you any worse. Had gastro enteritis on and off for about 6 weeks has eased off but now feel worse than ever. I do think the gut really affects the brain. You daughter looks gorgeous by the way.

@@melissadawncoaching Thanks did it take long for you to get back to baselines. Agree about forums can be very judgemental, not allowed to say you are feeling really low , which all of us do at times, get monitored, like being at school.

@@melissadawncoaching I do have questions. Do they teach you the VA skills in the course? Or do you need to have some skills to start out?
Reassurances that it is legit would be great, as it is a big investment. And it is just hard to sift out legit things from scams.
How well does one need to be? Maybe how many hours? Is this something I could pick away at, or does it require a solid, regular time commitment?
      Other start up costs?
      Just some general questions.
I am thinking maybe I might start by learning Excel on my own. Just to get my brain moving again, and see how I do. But I would really be interested to hear more about your experiences.

That’s not the way I feel at all. I was continuously tortured for a long time and never felt well for a second. Now I can go stretches feeling completely normal and something will trigger it. I refuse to believe the sensitivities will last forever. I went from completely non functioning on disability to building a business, taking care of my baby, socializing, sleeping 8 hours a night and experiencing life again. If that’s not recovering I don’t know what is. My system is still fragile but I’ve come a long way
