She started with youtube, then went to an after-school for the Performing Arts. Learned how to read and write music, play 5 instruments, arrange, and sing a song in different styles. When she moved to LA, CA. she entered the LA School of Performing Arts, graduating at 17.
The key is having beautiful people around you like her grandmother Mery, her mother Sara, her uncle Mike, and of course, Juliette. They love this young lady and it shows in everything thing she does and they do. The whole family is so amazing.

You asked how did she practice & learn to get where she is. From what I have read & watched on videos, this is how she did it. There is a video of her singing "I Will Always Love You" into a mic at 1 1/2 yrs. old and she listened to her grandma's jazz records. By 2 she was using her mom's ipad to look up all the singing & jazz greats (her mentors) on TH-cam. She practices music & singing for hours each day. Her mom enrolled her in a special school in Oslo with a great after school music program (they have their own recording studio, see her singing "I Who Have Nothing" at 6). I believe she started learning Music Theory at 5. She also had lessons in piano, guitar, violin & flute, but not singing lessons because they didn't want to mess with her voice & she had already been taught by all the greats as her mentors. By that age she was begging mom to enter her in Norway's Got Talent, but she had to wait until she was 7 to meet the minimum age. She has focused on a singing career all her life. After entering Norway's Got Talent at 7, she won the competition in a landslide at 8. Then she started performing in concerts & special appearances, including the Prime Minister & royalty of Norway, who then declared her to be a National Treasure and invited her to sing at a concert for Malala, the Pakistani winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, at 8. That's one way to do it, if you have a remarkably supportive family. You are impressed with her lower register (like everyone else). I think the key to Angelina's development was that at the age of two she was searching TH-cam for the classic jazz greats and honing in on their technics. Thanks to her grandmother for filming her throughout the years, we can witness the evolution of the next jazz great.
That means she has a relatively short drive to get there from where she is living, last time I drove through LA from north to south on Interstate 5 it took 3 hours and it was in March of this year.

Angelina told us during a listening party for her "Old Enough" EP, she would line up her dolls on the couch and she would perform concerts for them.

You asked how did she practice & learn to get where she is. From what I have read & watched on videos, this is how she did it. There is a video of her singing "I Will Always Love You" into a mic at 1 1/2 yrs. old and she listened to her grandma's jazz records. By 2 she was using her mom's ipad to look up all the singing & jazz greats (her mentors) on TH-cam. She practices music & singing for hours each day. Her mom enrolled her in a special school in Oslo with a great after school music program (they have their own recording studio, see her singing "I Who Have Nothing" at 6). I believe she started learning Music Theory at 5. She also had lessons in piano, guitar, violin & flute, but not singing lessons because they didn't want to mess with her voice & she had already been taught by all the greats as her mentors. By that age she was begging mom to enter her in Norway's Got Talent, but she had to wait until she was 7 to meet the minimum age. She has focused on a singing career all her life. After entering Norway's Got Talent at 7, she won the competition in a landslide at 8. Then she started performing in concerts & special appearances, including the Prime Minister & royalty of Norway, who then declared her to be a National Treasure and invited her to sing at a concert for Malala, the Pakistani winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, at 8. That's one way to do it, if you have a remarkably supportive family. You are impressed with her lower register (like everyone else). I think the key to Angelina's development was that at the age of two she was searching TH-cam for the classic jazz greats and honing in on their technics. Thanks to her grandmother for filming her throughout the years, we can witness the evolution of the next jazz great.

Angelina gave her own favorite shoes to the girl, and when asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, the girl said she wanted to be a doctor but couldn't because she had to take care of her siblings. When Angelina was asked the same question, she said she wanted to sing for the world. The young girl promised to pray for Angelina. Since that day, Angelina has performed barefoot as a reminder of those less fortunate. Aside from her music, Angelina is known for her charitable nature. She has helped raise millions for children and environmental causes, mostly from performances at fundraising events.
