      Sadly on older machines cant be avoided. The rain and snow is a problem. The latest machines have human and vehicle detection so makes a difference in these cases.

    Does the intrusion box need to be setup so people have to enter it for it to trigger? What if someone comes through a door and is within the drawn intrusion area? They will have entered the area without crossing the line.

    • @DACSecurity
      @DACSecurity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you get a notification and your really quick to get onto the app and click playback, you can get a failed to play message because the notification video clip hasn't stopped recording yet. Give it a little extra time and you should be good to go. If the video notification isn't quite ready and you want to see just click live view.

    • @DACSecurity
      @DACSecurity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can only make 1 line per camera. Depending on what machine you have will dictate how many cameras you can have it on. Some 4 channel machines only allow 2 lines max and other machine 4 cams can have 4 lines . If an ip system you can have as many as you like. Hope that helps.

      If its an accusense machine you can use the motion detection to create lines. Have lines on all cameras and as many as you want on each. I'm assuming you are making the lines to send alerts to your app etc so this would work a treat. Just set recorder to record 24/7 and use the motion to send alerts. Its kinda a wee trick to overcome only so many lines. Sadly you can't have the line crossing on when you use the motion detection.

      I think the dvr doesn't have max Smart event, at least it should not be 6. Why hapen that? Some channels doesn't support Smart events? Sorry for My English.

    • @DACSecurity
      @DACSecurity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Non Accusense you can get 1 line only on 1 camera but only maximum of 2 cameras. So if you have 4 camera system you can only get 2 lines not 4.
      Accusense you can get 1 line per camera but you can do this on a maximum of 4 cameras. This is the same if you have 8 camera machine still on 4 lines available.
      Hope that makes sense.
      You can get an Accusense machine and turn the Accusense part off so its just like a normal model and get the extra lines that way.

    Hello sir..one question pls.
    You can have intrusion and line cross detection at the same time right? But do they work well at the same camera but at the deferent areas?I asked that because I have some problems. I did everything you show us in your video and 1st if I enabled human detection, it did recognise human 5/10 times.either in cross line or intrusion. If I dissemble the human recognition it seems To work much better but only if I increase sensitivity. And then it notifies me for everything including dust...
    At night things are much worse.even if I enable human recognition with increased sensitivity it does the job 6/10 times.i remove that future and it is the same as before..I have to mention that I'm also at smart event.
    I really do not know what to do.
    Please help me..thank you

    • @DACSecurity
      @DACSecurity  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, depending on what system you have yes you can have both lines and intrusion switched on.
      You are better having human switched on as without you get many false alarms. It will pick up everything included rain , leaves blowing in the wind etc. even though human is switched on you will still get some false alarms sadly but far far less.
      You might be better switching line and intrusion detection off and using motion detection instead. You can select multiple area, create lines like line crossing but highlight only the areas which area most important. Also select human to filter out the rubbish.
      Hope that helps a bit and thanks for watching
