SIDEMOUNT SILESIA "TAKING OFF LEFT CYLINDER"

Here is a skill I believe every sidemount diver should possess. Taking off the left cylinder while still wearing the right cylinder is a key skill that might come in handy in a variety of situations. Besides it helps to develope better buoyancy and equipment management. The important thing here is to remember that the longhose rests on the the short (left cylinder's) hose. To avoid entaglement the diver first needs to handle the longhose.
I have spent a lot of hours underwater to finally come up with the procedure shwon here so I hope you appreciate it hence like and share it:).
The beginning of the video shows how not to do it, then the whole procedure with explanations, and finally (my favourite part) the whole chain done with no fins.

Good stuff man! The videos are at good quality to watch and good content too. You look like a sidemount artist.
I dive the stealth 2 too since 1.5 years with drysuit. I'm working on improving my rigging atm to make it more streamlined and improving drills. Your videos are a good teaching :).

Great video. I linked the idea of clipping R tank to D ring to help stow hose.
I have been sidemount diving in the uk with 2x12l steels /drysuit etc. I have about 4Kg of weigh in my stealth. I am diving in the red sea later in the year for the first time in a wetsuit with 2x 11l alum . Any idea's on initially weight - 7Kg ( obviously will check weigh with 50 bar in tanks) - just trying to get a rough idea from others experience ? Thanks.

Master...why purging th right regulator first?...before right hose off...

The reason for this is to test, making sure gas is available from that regulator.

Ditch your quipment. Go free and freedive and buyoancy control is total. This looks obssessive and narcistic.

Why do you feel you need to insult people who have a different hobby from you? This is clearly a practice and demonstration video. In normal open water diving you wouldn’t have a need to take off a cylinder. In cave or wreck diving however it may be the only way you can go forward. Do you intend to “ditch your equipment” when you’re cave diving?
