I came by yesterday (Friday) and saw you filming. I didn't want to mess with your flow, so i just hung for a few minutes. One of the guys inside brought me one of your stickers. I had a good time looking around the lot to see what kinds of RV's you have. So many options! I was just out on a leaf peeping ride on the motorcycle. When I'm ready to buy, i will come check you out first. I have learned so much watching your reviews. Thanks so much for posting.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I was able to hear you do your thing across the parking lot. didn't want to ruin your filming. I'll get back up there soon. I found a BBQ spot nearby that I will have to keep traveling for.
Yes to the shower surround!!!! Mine doesn’t have one either so I too have to take time to wipe down. For the KITCHEN, put an insert into that nice deep sink. CHANGES: make one for solo or couples - get rid of the bunks, widen the rear bathroom to include a sink in the bathroom with a medicine cabinet and countertop space and shelves or cabinets for toiletries and towels. Flip the refrigerator to the other side where the bunks stick out and move the stove down and now you have more countertop space and storage above and below the added countertop space.
If the shower situation bothers you, it wouldn't be too difficult to retrofit some low-maintenance waterproof wall coverage . The big box stores sell 4' x 8' shower surround panels for around $25. I would put the TV on a mount right between the two overhead cabinets above the dinette. With smart TVs, the hookup placement is pretty much irrelevant as long as you have an outlet. You could also just set a TV on the counter. There's no law that says it has to be mounted on a wall as long as you secure it for travel. Screen down on the bed works fine. Personally, I'd lose the dinette and build a couch instead. Just be sure to keep it in case you sell the camper so you can reinstall it. It looks like a great deal. Spending $40k or more on a small travel trailer is not feasible for a lot of people, and this rig will do everything that a unit twice the price will do.
That’s the cool thing about this series of camper. The little things I would like to see different generally could be fixed for very few dollars and still be thousands less than something else like it.
A lot of bang for the buck (in today's prices) But some things that it doesn't have that a lot of people might consider deal breakers; no front stabilizers, no back flush for the blackwater tank. Be a great starter for someone who doesn't do a lot of camping.
I took a shower in an RV once, I'm not crazy tall and it was a nice RV with a "decent" rv shower. My friends owned it and it was a 2019 model. It was terrible, I hated every second of it. For someone like me who would never use the shower and would rather stick his head in a bucket outside this is perfect. I'd be more likey to hose off my feet in that than take a shower in an rv again. They also make double sided tape shower board which could be added. So that's also fixable/customizable.
❤❤ I like it. Everything can be fixed to my liking..I dont need a TV I prefer a radio, but no outside speakers.. can put a board over the sink for prep space.
Instead of the current tv wiring they could easily replace with an outlet box for outdoor WiFi/Cell antenna customer install and small shelf for a router.
The price on this is unreal, you ligimately can't purchase a sedan in the US Market for this price. It's cheaper than a car! Wow! I'm glad Bish's is doing this. Can't wait to see what's next!
There are a few simole things they could do that would really help. TV hookups are useless in that location. We do watch tv when we get in bed. I'm 6'1" and can easily sleep on a short queen. I sleep on my side, so i dont stretch out fully. I have never seen this brand in person, so i can't speak to it, but most manufacturers really need to cut back in some of the "fluff" and focus on quality. The industry has really dropped the ball on quality since Covid, and cutting out speakers would be a good thing to start with. A bunkhouse in such a tiny trailer pretty much eliminates having good storage, unless you use the beds for storage. This is a really good small trailer at a price that people can afford.
I'd add in order of importance; full shower surround; stabilizer jacks on all 4 corners; folding legs with maybe a wall cleat for extra support for indoor/outdoor use of the dinette table; deep as possible front under bed storage; standard size queen mattress; velcro to hold up the cushions. If I could get all that, or even just most of that, and even have to pay a bit more (maybe to the tune of $1000) this would make it the perfect upgrade from my popup camper. A higher cargo rating would be nice if I were to do more boondocking. I also agree to save on costs I would definitely lose the outdoor speakers.
I'd swap the outdoor speakers for struts on the under-bed storage. I can add velcro to the dinette cushions myself, lol. I'd put a couple coats of dairy paint and a tube of silicone in the shower to solve that issue, and the bathroom door would get exchanged for a curtain because that door opening out into the limited living space would annoy me constantly. I'm okay with the kitchen counter situation because it wouldn't be hard to find or make a good cutting board to fit in the top of the sink and turn that into food prep space. I do think there should be a fireproof splash guard on the wall beside the burners, though. Being that close to the wall is such a fire hazard. (I was only six when my sister's popcorn caught on fire, but it left a lasting impression...lol). Just a weight saving thought...ditch the black tank and install a composting toilet, instead. I don't remember...is there a place outside to plug in an extra solar panel? I love all the cabinets and drawers! But that CCC is still on the low end for me, which is a bummer since I am liking these Go Play RVs. I'm fine with the bed layout, but I'm a solo under 6'. But the TV situation is a big BOO HISS. LOL! Is there a reason no one is mounting the TV from the ceiling so it can fold down or up out of the way when not in use? Seems like today's skinny little flat screens could make that feasible...
I'd put legs on that table to make it movable. I'm no longer in to tubs all the littles are grown, wish the shower was a molded one piece. No struts under the bed? I do like the farmhouse type kitchen sink. Nice storage. I like the power awaning, mine had to be put out by hand. I prefer dual axles, my 19ft Terry had dual axles. Good job as usual Josh showing the good, the bad and the ugly.
I really like the tub in the shower. Way too many builders refuse to admit families with wee little ones buy rvs... Edit put the scratchy part of the velcro on the cushion and the soft part on the seat back....
I like the no slide smaller option here. I would extend the bed and put the TV connection by the feet so it is useable. I would ideally swap to a couch over the table. Or even another option of free space there for a single recliner chair. I would also, of course like a no bunk option since this could be a good single person camper. And last yeah shower should have panels.
Yes, shower surround. A sturdy TV tray would work great for extra prep space when time to cook. Long bed, less storage please! NO one has fun if Momma can't sleep!!😂
Yes to shower surround paneling. My wife wants an oven! Small door in the back (or the side) where the bunks are to stow my e-bikes! More solar (600 watts). TIA
Also noticed no forward stabilizers. The lack of bathtub liner is the biggest drawback for me though. Def a consideration for a camper moving forward, with this price point.
Little things like that such as adding a few extra stabilizers are things you can do, and still come in under the budget of so many other campers like this, thankfully
Take out the bunks, increase the size of the bathroom into the space vacated by the bunks, move the dinette into the area vacated by the bunks, maybe put a pantry between the bathroom and dinette, and rotate the bed to make it a walk-around with hanging closets, and then you would have something. It wouldn't be perfect, but it would be a lot better than it is now.
The only thing I'd change is put in a smaller sink for more counter space. I'm not usually a fan of East west beds but the look of the cabinets around the bed sold me. (Homey feels) Plus, you know STORAGE. I showed this to the hubs. The price point is awesome too.
Great review on this capable unit. Obviously some simple changes that would not add to much cost would be the shower surround and front stabilizers. Still very good price for something that I would be comparing to $30,000 plus units from Rockwood or others.
thats awesome go anywhere camper, what i would like to see is - TWO axles, having flat tire with single axle SUCKS....and another thing - i would like to see option to get rid of closet and have full long bed - comeon, people taller then 180cm exist!!!
Josh I'm currently only at the your video review on this one but that kitchen farm sink is way too big for such a small Camper however they also manufacture a More compact farm sink if your supplier can find one.
1. Eliminate the bunk beds 2. Widen the bathroom using part of bunk space for install of stinky-hand sink 3. Use the rest of the bunk area for a small desk and/or pet bowl space 4. Yes! True queen please! (6' 2" tall RV Nerd fan here) 5. Gimme a discount for elimination of useless outdoor speakers
Nice video Josh! I was particularly interested in this unit because it has the basic floorplan as my 2019 Flagstaff E-Pro 19BH (actually, the reason we purchased that rig was primarily because of your review). Then again, the E-Pro comes with a much higher price point although we did buy our rig used about a year ago for $15,000. I don't know how much, if any, input you have in the design of these units but you have a better grasp of what consumers want/need than anyone that I know. There are things that I like about this one and things that I do not. Likes: 1. No oven! We have an oven on our rig and have never used it (except for storage). 2. Two burner vertical cooktop 3. Increased counter space due to the above factors. 4. Lightweight 5. Lots of storage space 6. Enclosed/heated underbelly 7. Upper and lower bunk windows 8. Higher ceiling 9. Wardrobe closet 10. Privacy curtain 11. Large kitchen sink Dislikes: 1. I just think corrugated outer walls look dated 2. No shower surround 3. No bunk door and tilt up lower bunk 4. Horrible TV placement 5. Tiny bath exhaust fan 6. Tiny holding tanks (we can barely get by with (30/30/30) 7. I am just spoiled having a front windshield 8. No front wall enclosing the top bunk 9. No front stabilizer jacks 10. No struts under the bed Then again, this rig is priced at about what we paid for a 4 year old used E-Pro (although it was in excellent condition). This seems to be a great price point for a new unit!
I have to think you just for breaking this down in such an easy to read format. You have no idea how many giant blocks of text with no punctuation I have to sift through every day lol.

What I don't understand is how the sink can be so big for such a small RV. The ratio of sink to counter-space is way off here. Just my opinion.

Yeah. That and the outside speakers could be eliminated. Rather have a walk in shower with surround and fold down sink in the bathroom.
