*Apologies I think I may have made an error regarding the ramp + patio mode* I was initially given info that may not be correct. These do not come with the patio hardware. And… one of the major measures of the go play series is basically zero options to streamline production and keep costs in check. Josh, the Go Play design team is headed in the right direction! Love the white cabinets(that is a biggies for my wife) and general internal trim as well as layout. Really, the only true hiccup I see is the lack of patio set up...most folks I talk to about "toy haulers" see the patio as a huge selling point (especially race fans) and I believe would be more than willing to pay the extra couple hundred dollars to have it as a standard feature, so there is my 2 cents on that(and with todays inflation numbers, it ain't much!) All in all I think it is super usable. As far as your questions about the colors and graphics...it looks good, simple but not boring or gaudy. Thank you for doing a great job AND putting up with my run on sentences😉
I think it DOES have a patio setup, but he wasn't able to show it because of the trade show setup. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. This is key on a setup like this!
Oh my goodness, after going to the website, I think you're right! I guess this will have to be removed my personal options. That's too bad. That's a make it or break it point for me and probably a lot of others.. :(
yeah i made that presumption as well. Turns out the supplier that fulfills these from us does patios as an option for about $2,800 We don’t offer options to streamline production and reduce labor cost.. but means this one has perhaps a major Achilles heel
I really appreciate the simplicity of these Go Play rigs. This floor plan strikes me as ridiculously versatile. Kind of a bunkhouse, kind of a couples camper, could be used for folks working remote (love the flip up bar and stools for this), easily can carry all kinds of gear, even a golf cart. And maybe an unpopular opinion but I am totally fine with no TV. Have the option to add one and that's a good enough. But I'm on the side of I'm not going camping to watch freaking TV. Plus, let's be honest we all have our own devices. Well done on this rig.
Add a flip down queen bed in the back. Either that or put more upper cabinets for additional storage on both sides. I zgree with others. The patio on the ramp would be a good addition
Awesome trailer! I really like the layout and decor. I love that the underbelly is enclosed, it has dual large baggage doors with a light and magnetic door catches. It also has a large door handle, window in the door and solid steps. My suggestions: 1) Needs ramp/patio package, c'mon man I wanna sip my coffee off the back of my patio, not roll down my patio. 2) Keep the gas oven, whether people use it or not, it's always better to have and not need then to need and not have. 3) True queen, true queen, true queen... I'd rather Karen about an uncomfortable true queen mattress then Karen about a comfy queen short mattress... I don't need the underbed goblin getting my toes due to a queen short. 4) Move the outside speakers down, or just add a small Bluetooth detachable speaker. 5) Keep the 30lb propane. Bigger is better and less trips to have it refilled.
This is very cool 🎉 Love the side table. It's so perfect for laptop setup. Love that it's still propane stove/oven. Don't like the dual entry bathroom. That doesn't use the space well. Could have more cabinets in the bedroom. Patio option would take it over the top.
true queen bed no 2nd bathroom door. Love the value of this one as no frills camper. Would love an electric oven or even the nice convection microwave option. Just needs to be big enough to put a digorno pizza in. That said this is maybe the best bang for your buck camper I've seen
I am new to RVing and getting ready to dive into the RV world and cannot thank you enough for your real world walk through and education on RVs. Keep up the great work!!
The radius shower isn’t the preferred choice by any means, but it is far better than a bathroom with a shower curtain, a plastic toilet and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan👍
Every trailer needs to copy and paste the bathroom floodplain. Needs a larger sink tho. Move the awning to the rear. The decor is awesome! These are coming along nicely 🍻
I love the no slide light duty hauler! Perfect for bike families that want secure bike storage in road mode. I wish there was a "standard" 3 season wall option, but I know those are tricky to add. I agree the second bathroom door to the owner's room is unnecessary.
I love having the large stove & propane tanks. The door between the bedroom & bathroom is not needed. For those wanting a patio, you could do what the cargo trailer conversions do--use jack stands on the back. Use a portable pet fence. As a solo camper I would replace the short queen with a full but more people would want a 60x80 queen. The sofas don't look like it would be impossible for the owner to remove one or both & replace with recliners if desired. I love the no slide. I wonder how many of the slides won't close completely after being towed & parked on uneven ground?
This is the best toy hauler design for my needs since the Hobbi 260. There are only a couple of changes I'd want to see as far as I can tell. First, include the rear patio stuff. That additional utility is huge in my opinion. Second, make the rear seating/bed thingies fold flat so that the whole thing is a usable sleeping surface. I don't so much care if they meet in the middle, but nobody wants to sleep on those uneven lumpy seat backs. I like this one a lot.
I like this. What would make it perfect for ME: Agree with everyone: patio and 3 season doors would be ideal. Kitchen as a slide. Electric fireplace. Queen bed in back. Even if it’s just on struts you pull down. No second door in bathroom, allows for another cabinet or hooks. I do like the nicer couches, galvanized wheel wheels, struts on the bed, lights in the pass thru storage.
Wondering if something like an FSX Max series or perhaps grand design MAV might be a better fit for your preferences I like your ideas though.. especially the 1 bath door
I really like it. I especially like the screen on the back making it feel like your camping. I like the long dinette and no slide. I wish it had top bunks.
Overall, I like that the Go-Play RVs are more focused on function and usability than useless look-pretty bells and whistles. Definitely appreciate the more reasonable pricing! It'd be nice if they were pre-wired for solar, including the side-wall plug-in for extra panels, though, even if you're not going to include solar already installed.
Oh, and I prefer keeping the propane stove. 2 or 3 way fridge that includes propane would be nice too, but I understand those are becoming harder to get.
Absolutely love our “basic” toy hauler which is very similar to this. Loved having the ramp / patio open every morning while in Colorado & watching the hot air balloons ascend over the mountains. We have considered adding “patio legs” to our ramp. We’ve never added a TV - don’t need it. Keeping it simple. 🤩🤩
What if they made a camper like that without the ramp but with two twin beds in the back? Keep the floating table so it could be a dinette but since it has the bar and most like to eat outside you wouldn't have to. I'm thinking for a family with a couple kids that could be really nice. I agree that the second bathroom door isn't necessary. Definitely put a full queen. Just my 2 cents worth.
Very nice entry level toy hauler for those who need one👍but by no means is it nearly as comfortable and livable as a conventional RV floorplan for those who can’t leave home without their toys🫤
Josh I LOVE IT!! $30K for this hauler is sweet. These are things I would change after purchase or if Bish’s is willing to make a change. 20LB LP tanks easier to change at the grocery store I would put 2 fold up bunk beds in instead of the fold down benches. This is totally made for 6 folks out hunting / glamping off the grid. LOOKING GOOD BISH’S!! 🤠
I think you really have this setup nicely. Personally, I would like to see the second bathroom door go away and get a rectangular shower. The presence of or lack of a propane oven doesn't matter, i would rather have storage.
I love it. The three things I would add would be a patio, obviously; a 7'0" interior height; and more windows (think wildwood/ Salem 270RTK max). Basically, all the windows that could be squeezed on that wall. For the size, window coverage isn't bad on this one, but I LOVE natural light. And I live in the foothills, so a more accessible view would be appreciated.
Best new design? Pop-up tent on the roof accessible from inside the trailer. Build a 2x2 hatch with a drop ladder. Hard walls. Perfect for kids and teens. Keeps the main floor open for the adults. We put them on Tacoma and Tundra roofs and beds. Why not here? Josh, run that!
3 things I'd change: True Queen Bed, Non-radius shower (just a curtain would be better!), and something to connect the two jackknife sofas to make one big bed (I'm thinking there might be a DIY this though). Overall, I'm liking this design and want to see it in person!
I really like the floor plan decor couches and counter with barstools. I wish it had the patio, and a generator compartment and more fresh water storage. I like this better than a lot of the higher priced toy haulers. Thanks for another great video.
I think for the target of these the camp queen from the factory makes sense. I think even entry level buyers have watched so many TH-cam RV beginner videos that all say to replace it. Save that money from the get go to use on the upgrade. Just need to ditch those outdoor speakers though... I think the only thing left to make it 11 would be some Goodyears.
It’d be an interesting engineering challenge, but it would be *super* cool if all of the small-to-medium toy haulers were designed to have two or three different options for where to have the axle attached, so you could reconfigure the hitch weight based on whether you typically run it with a heavy motorized toy or just light things like kayaks or dog crates. That would address by far the biggest drawback of toy hauler floorplans for those of us hauling only lightweight but bulky cargo.
I understand trying to hit a price point with this series but it definitely needs a patio... Personally that's a deal breaker for me on a toy hauler cause even if you don't haul anything, the extended living and dining options that patio offers is fantastic. Plus personally, I'd probably put my folding table and camping kitchen supplies out there to cook breakfast and keep the bacon splatter out of the RV
This is a nice camper, leave the oven, remove the extra door to the bathroom, and the back table, change to allow the table to place in the middle, to be able to make a full size bed, it then could be used, twin beds, and or double bed,
I call my blue tooth speaker Derek. It's the first toy hauler I've seen that doesn't feel like one. It Just has a big open space on the end. But I could put my motorcycle in it if I wanted to. Or if she let me.
Love the lighter brighter interior. Keep the oven for sure. Dislike the lack of a full patio option. So much so that I would most likely be inclined to look much closer at the competition. BTW, I literally lol’d at you trying to clean the shadow off the wall. Mainly cuz I’ve definitely never done anything similar myself. Definitely never done anything like that. Nope. 🤙
Just a thought. You said it does have a patio mode. But even when you go to more. It is displayed in ramp mode. Maybe change that picture to patio mode?
This is a nicely done RV especially considering that it’s an entry level budget model. In that vein some thoughts. Remove the solar from the unit and just pre-wire for solar and an inverter. Remove the outside speakers and any radio package or sound system. I wouldn’t worry about the ramp patio not being there for what this is. My thought is that I want a budget camper to have the basics but not the extras that are in the nice to have category. So stuff like a radio and outside speakers that are rarely if ever used are not needed. But what I do want is quality construction and parts on what’s left. So in turn upgrade the suspension with something like the CRE3000 with the HD shackle straps, brass bushings and wet bolts. Thats a much much bigger value add. If you’re using junk tires upgrade those. For solar offer a dealer installed package. The problem with a 200w panel is that it’s not even going to be close to keeping up with a 12v DC fridge. So it’s pointless. Instead sell a package that has say 600w of Solar, the charge controller and a 2000w smart inverter. Make this a dealer installed option. In other words you have a deal with a vendor who ships all the parts to a dealer who then installs them using the pre-designed and wired connection points. Customers who want to boondock actually get a useful system and the park campers aren’t buying hardware they don’t need. Also hands off my oven. We don’t use ours a ton but we definetly use it and I’m very much opposed to removing them.
Those rear seats are much better than the usual, so happy to see that. I like the interior colors, very bright. The radius shower is a bummer but given all the other great features, it can be lived with. All in all, a really nice affordable toy hauler.
I can’t remember what other toy hauler it was, but I think since this is the “budget friendly version”, I think this would be a perfect candidate for the basic 4 separate twin bunks (or possibly twin xl) that folded up in the rear of this instead of the extra padded 2 bench seat/beds that you have to bring extra pads for anyway so you have a more even sleeping space without the aches and pains the next morning.
excellent, perfect size toy hauler, hold most toys or small car even. (weight depending ofcourse) ... one of the old little suzuki jeep lookin thing from the 80s would probably fit nicely, nice all around, at such a price point those all season doors, not really needed, just let you be lazy and lock up without closing ramp.. not required. one thing about no options means it is easier to create your own options to a point.... especially in a toy hauler. and nobody said you can not have aftermarket things added professionally if wanted, to a point again. for the speakers up there.... a good thing to do would take this rv to someplace like here in town, Import Audio, take out them outside speakers, have good high dollar alpine or blaupunkt marine speakers put in their same holes, replace current sound unit with... something that will fit with subwoffer output, and preamp, a 2000 watt amplifier for the speakers, and a 4000 watt amp 16 inch subwoofer you leave inside the trailer (portable ofcourse) to increase the base hitting.... then crank something like, shook me all night long from ac/dc 5 minutes till quiet time in the camp ground.
Great unit at a better than great price! We’d like to see a bedroom TV mounted on the wall facing the bed. Perhaps by eliminating the bathroom door connecting to the bedroom a suitable surface could be found? I’d like a small pantry and a place for a trash can. If I went camping for 2 weeks I’d have a really tough time with storage - kitchen items, bathroom items, and big time lack of clothing space. Last, I’d like to know the dimensions of the bed created by the jackknife sofa. Love the patio and would like to see a railing around it. Way to go, Go Play!
Hey Uncle Josh hope you're having a great day? I like this but I do wish you could turn the ramp into a patio! The set-up of this is great. Your number one fan an friend Leonard Nelson from North Carolina.
Back patio(potentially with overhead cover), use something similar to the Ember 240TKR double double bunk system combined with the hinged desk, and like you said the true queen bed length. Those changes would make this more versatile and appealing to not only myself but maybe others.
I think with a little more on the budget some of that stuff like the ember bunks could be possible. FSX from forest river does some of that actually And yeah.. true queen all the way
Considering a TH rather than a bunk house, so the bed lift would be a plus for me. Same with the patio hardware. I get the idea, though, of limiting options to keep production costs down. I could see more cabinets above the seating area, if they’re not going to offer a “bed-over“. I’m okay without a big entertainment center, as long as I can make up for any lost storage space (e.g.: totes that can stow under those beds in the back. I’m okay without the propane oven, especially with a “cooker-hooker” since I bring an outside grill anyway; I’ll take a combo microwave/air fryer combo, instead.
Looks like a re-branded jayco 265th that's in my driveway. The expanded metal wheel well, outlet locations, 99 percent of the canper is the same. To me the go play line is just a restickered Jayco, not complaining just an observation.
You’re not far off. Think of these like a “Cousin” instead of a clone. When you see cousins at a family reunion you can tell you’re related. You can see similarities. But you can tell they’re not identical. Kinda how these are
The one trend that I'm not fond of is the lack of space to get up in the middle of the night to do you business...I despise it when they say walk around bed when 3/4 of the side is raised to accommodate a pass through storage. I'd be ok to lose some of width of the pass through storage for the added space...but that's just me.
Really like this...does it have to be a toy hauler? Like could it be a big-item-hauler and just have sliding glass back doors with screens? Perfect! Lose second bathroom door and provide more storage. Needs doors on bedroom storage. Love the clean, light look of the GoPlays.👍
Putting a deposit down on one in advance of delivery atm. But... Would like to see bigger windows. I DO LIKE that they're the type that can actually slide halfway open for more breeze (some of those bigger windows in front of that bar area in fact end up with like only 1/4 or less that open despite being bigger). But windows, windows, windows is definitely our chant. The Salem/wildwood 260RT was what we were thinking we'd do before this came up. Love the breakfast bar setup, that's going to be the office I'd say, room enough for laptop and second screen easy. Speaking off also agree with other comments that it makes sense to skip the TV. They're often not in logical/ergonomic spots and frankly we usually use the second monitor off the laptop anyway. Would like to see it with the patio hardware, but we'll get some, it's solvable and not everyone will use so reasonable to not include. Solar charge controller - MPPT controllers are far superior and generic (non Victron) ones are cheap. But I recognize every dollar counts. Hoping it'll be an easy swap out once I track down the hardware which I assume is separate from the screen... Something worth calling out -it's mentioned in one of the website videos for other models so was wanting to confirm it was true for the toyhauler too - and I paused yours as you came out of the passenger side passthrough enough to confirm the tag I could read that it's Inverter prepped. That's seriously awesome and will save me some wiring time. (going off grid baby) So big kudos on that it's a real nice extra touch. 30lb tanks... Good to have the size for sure, though I could see us potentially swapping out one of them to 20 just so if we need to do a cylinder exchange at some point it's not a big deal. Propane oven/stove also good for sure Outdoor speakers have their place and I know we'll use them on occasion but... yeah if you were going to cut something, that's an easy thing to justify cutting so definitely get your point. Something worth potentially thinking about for the future is some kind of prep real light just say convenient 110 and cable hole for starlink (or one day alternate equivalent). But that's just a nebulous wishlist thing worth thinking about for low cost. I know we'll be planning to build some kind of 3 season door setup (look we've got 3 cats) and some sort of easy setup patio fence for them once we get back to VT but totally understand why those aren't options. Surprising Rv accessory folks aren't coming up with more generic 3 season door setups though for people to do aftermarket, seems like an accessory that would make sense for a lot of people which few manufacturers offer out of the box so to speak (well I guess inside the actual box). Price is great for the value love that and love that Bish's doesn't have rando extra fees so out the door is easy.
Hi Josh, We love your videos!! We would like a toy hauler that will allow the ramp to stay down and also have a back wall or set of secure doors so that we don't have to open and close the rear ramp door multiple times per day. We live in a hot and buggy climate that is incompatible with the rear of the RV always being open. We have recumbent bikes that we would like to use but we would need to open and close the rear door ramp multiple times per day. The bikes are too expensive to leave outside at the campsite and they would be stored in the toy hauler when we are not using them. I haven't seen a solution for this problem yet. Is there a way to modify the Go Play Toyhauler that would allow this function? Thanks!!
You know what I would like (in any of the crossover TH's) is an option to not have any couches or beds in the rear area and replace them with recliners. I wouldn't need the cargo capacity as I don't haul toys. This one is definitely intriguing but a real bummer that it does not have the rear patio. Lose the rear beds, shorten the trailer by 4 feet and add a patio!
No wrap around bacon grease deflector on the side of the stove. I know I hear it almost in every of your videos. I'm surprised that there isn't one here. Otherwise pretty good toy haul or layout. Except for the gate on the ramp to use as a patio! Get rid of that extra door in bathroom, make the shower bigger
Close. Don’t care for the two folding sofas in the back, could be designed better IMO. The lack of an entertainment center is a deal breaker for me. Would like to see y’all come up with a sub 20’ model with a rear ramp or hatch.
Hi Josh, Thanks for all the info you provide. I was able to find several patio kits that will work but i have a couple other questions. Are the tie down rings welded to the frame? Even tho you don't offer options, would Bish's be able to put in the larger fajita fighting fan as an upgrade before i pick it up? Last suggestions add reverse lights to those big taillights, keep the 30lb tanks and true queen would be great for sheets and blankets, but that isn't a deal breaker. Thanks again😊
I do not know exactly how the tie downs are affixed and don't want to guess or just make something up. I suspect they're not welded directly to the chassis as that is costly and not something that happens at this price point among stick and tin haulers typically (more commonly found on bigger, laminated stuff) Regarding upgrades: Yeah if it can be done we can do it at our stores. Fans are an easy thing we do every day
Hey Josh. Love the videos. Learning a lot with you. Just wondering if when you do the toy haulers, you could put everything up like you were going to load something? Thanks
I want my rv to have a stove an oven and a convection microwave. And I'd want at least double the standard solar with great battery capacity. 👍 oh yah, and ventilation for the garage.😊
The tie-downs force you to center your motorcycle in the rear. This will not allow you to be able to use one of the side jackknife seats. I would like to have one of the jackknife seats down when traveling; when you stop to eat or stayed the night in a parking lot. Look at other toy haulers; they have tie-downs that allow you to have two motorcycles in the back, side by side.
Purchased a new 263TH in May of 2024. Have been very disappointed in this camper. Ever since we purchased it, it has had an issue with the door. When the temps are low, the door functions fine. However, when the temp gets up there, or the sun is hitting the door side of the camper, the door frame swells up, and it either prevents you from opening it, or if you do manage to get it open, there is no way to get it to latch from the inside. Have reached out to the dealer I bought it from, and they were less than helpful. Basically said I could reach out to a Jayco dealer to see if they can look at it. My wife has turned very sour on the whole camping thing because of this camper. I guess I would say think very long and hard before purchasing this camper. It's not that much cheaper than a better camper. I wish we would have spent a little more, for a better camper.
Burt Ty for sharing this I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a rough time with it. I haven’t heard this before but not doubting it I’m guessing it’s been reported to our service folks?
Is there a difference between this and the jayco? I think it would be nice to have a pull down bunk like the mav27. On the other hand, it would be cool if the mav had the cabinets on the RH side... 27k is a lot less than the mav27 though
I like the idea. I am currently in the market for something like this. Something in this weight and price range. I have a 72” wide 2 seat SxS so I need a little bigger garage. Basically need to move the sink and stove to a different location. So far the only TH with this floor plan is the FR Ozark 2700TH. Don’t need a Glamper, just a couple day camper with a full 12’ garage. I looks like this trailer has a lot of similarities, possibly built of the same chassis and frame? The 2700TH has a dinner slide for a bit more living space though. I would give up the slide as long as it had the garage space.
@@JoshtheRVNerd yeh, both are a tad too heavy for my Ford Raptor to tow. I have an aluminum enclosed cargo trailer right now that I use. So, it’s tent camping for us. Looking to find happy medium. Wife isn’t huge on tent camping.
No options. Standard with 200w panel on the roof and a 30amp controller Means you should be able to pretty readily add an add’l panel. Also has a plug for portable panels that can run in concern with the on board roof solar
The only way I can convince my wife on a new camper, is if Josh reviews it! 🤦♂️ otherwise, she’s not interested. Just curious why the Ozark 2500TH wasn’t included in this list?
I watched a video from another creator, he was at Grand Design talking about the differences between the Reflection lines. He used the term 'decontented', which made me wonder if he watches your videos. I don't care for this, no pantry is an automatic disqualifier for me, and with this length and the private bedroom it needs a second air in the bedroom (at 30 amps I am assuming (yes I know) that it is single air). Bed length from the factory isn't an issue, since 90%+ of owners are going to pitch it for something comfortable, just make sure there's room for a true queen. Oh, and extend the wardrobes all the way down, with the headboard pockets. And a flip-up counter next to the sink would help.
I love it but the lack of a patio ramp walls and a 3 season door is a deal breaker. To me, half the point of a toy hauler is the ability to extend the living space on nice days, since we don't really have the types of toys that require all that space! Because you're making a concession on the kitchen size and entertainment layout, it's too much of a compromise otherwise. It's definitely a step in the right direction though!
I have to say at this point in the video, which I am enjoying, is that why don't we just do away with the outside speakers all together! We are living in a new generation of blue tooth speakers where we dont Need those things anymore!!! LOL
*Apologies I think I may have made an error regarding the ramp + patio mode*
I was initially given info that may not be correct. These do not come with the patio hardware.
And… one of the major measures of the go play series is basically zero options to streamline production and keep costs in check.
As a result.. i think we may have shot ourselves in the foot on these and do not offer a patio feature.
Thank you for clarifying Josh!
Only way to learn is by trying.
Thanks for walking us through. I agree to make the patio standard.
Big swing and miss on no patio option. I was ready to trade in before that lol.
Love it, but would like to see a fence/gate around the patio to keep the grandbabies and furbabies in!
Yeah this one is more of a ramp than a patio in that way
Josh, the Go Play design team is headed in the right direction!
Turns out the supplier that fulfills these from us does patios as an option for about $2,800
We don’t offer options to streamline production and reduce labor cost.. but means this one has perhaps a major Achilles heel
I like it! A practical affordable trailer.
Add a flip down queen bed in the back. Either that or put more upper cabinets for additional storage on both sides. I zgree with others. The patio on the ramp would be a good addition
I love it,3 season would have been great though
Awesome trailer! I really like the layout and decor. I love that the underbelly is enclosed, it has dual large baggage doors with a light and magnetic door catches. It also has a large door handle, window in the door and solid steps.
My suggestions:
1) Needs ramp/patio package, c'mon man I wanna sip my coffee off the back of my patio, not roll down my patio.
Welcome aboard! Over 7,400 videos here on this channel for you!
I think this might be the single biggest collection of rv videos out there
The radius shower isn’t the preferred choice by any means, but it is far better than a bathroom with a shower curtain, a plastic toilet and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan👍
What would make it perfect for ME:
Agree with everyone: patio and 3 season doors would be ideal.
Wondering if something like an FSX Max series or perhaps grand design MAV might be a better fit for your preferences
I like your ideas though.. especially the 1 bath door
I really like it. I especially like the screen on the back making it feel like your camping. I like the long dinette and no slide. I wish it had top bunks.
If these were taller inside, then perhaps they’d have room for that extra bed above the sofas
Josh I love when you show Rvs. Love when you say things like ramper camper. Love it when you do poetry. I think the ramper camper is pretty cool! 👍
Glad you like them!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Fashionista, eh? LMAO! (I knew what you meant...) :P
It has a solar panel on top already and 30amp charge system for solar
I like it! Just needs a patio and true queen.
I think both would be amazing additions
Absolutely love our “basic” toy hauler which is very similar to this. Loved having the ramp / patio open every morning while in Colorado & watching the hot air balloons ascend over the mountains. We have considered adding “patio legs” to our ramp. We’ve never added a TV - don’t need it. Keeping it simple. 🤩🤩
That is awesome!
20LB LP tanks easier to change at the grocery store
I would put 2 fold up bunk beds in instead of the fold down benches. This is totally made for 6 folks out hunting / glamping off the grid.
LOOKING GOOD BISH’S!! 🤠
Propane works. Off grid heat, hot water, cooking, and refrigerator. 30 amp solar probably ok. Hope the sun shines and the batteries are in good shape
Josh, you guys did a great job with this one.
Keep the gas stove top and oven and add the true queen bed please.
TY Geoff!!
I think you really have this setup nicely. Personally, I would like to see the second bathroom door go away and get a rectangular shower. The presence of or lack of a propane oven doesn't matter, i would rather have storage.
I love this model. I have been looking for a while and this nails exactly what I have been looking for.
Glad you like it!
Sounds like you really like those FSX Max models!
I really like that one I don't need a toy hauler necessarily for hauling a toy but I would like it for a back patio
Love ya, Josh. You are a valuable resource. Kind of interesting about waste baskets.
Looks great 👍 👌 😀
Thank you 👍
COuld have puts cabinets over the windows in the back for helmets and stuff storage!!
That's the perfect retirement RV for me. Exactly what I would do if I made one myself. Thank you.
More hanging closet space, 2 burner induction cook top & a micro/convection.
I'd like to see SLAM LATCH doors all the way around the exterior. I'd also like to see the ramp having double duty as a patio with the rails.
That would be cool!
Thanks for another great video.
that is so cool- checks a whole bunch of boxes on the "nice to have" list
The interior decor is spot on! We love the lighter look! Thanks Josh!
All most like my KZ toy hauler 27 thse but not 14 inches 15 " E rating good years tire's thanks for all you do
It’d be an interesting engineering challenge, but it would be *super* cool if all of the small-to-medium toy haulers were designed to have two or three different options for where to have the axle attached, so you could reconfigure the hitch weight based on whether you typically run it with a heavy motorized toy or just light things like kayaks or dog crates. That would address by far the biggest drawback of toy hauler floorplans for those of us hauling only lightweight but bulky cargo.
The patio should be standard on all toy haulers. I would also like to see this with the on-demand water heater.
I tend to agree actually
Any plans on rear bunk over dinette?
Love the lighter brighter interior. Keep the oven for sure. Dislike the lack of a full patio option. So much so that I would most likely be inclined to look much closer at the competition. BTW, I literally lol’d at you trying to clean the shadow off the wall. Mainly cuz I’ve definitely never done anything similar myself. Definitely never done anything like that. Nope. 🤙
Just a thought. You said it does have a patio mode. But even when you go to more. It is displayed in ramp mode. Maybe change that picture to patio mode?
@@JoshtheRVNerd Sad to hear that. Patio mode, to me, should be standard. Just my opinion
If this was out when I bought mine, I might have done it.
Been looking forward to this video. Thanks Josh!
@@JoshtheRVNerd
All except not having the patio package, I dig it. Are their after market options?
Super cool dude. I’d love to take one for a spin.
Great unit at a better than great price! We’d like to see a bedroom TV mounted on the wall facing the bed. Perhaps
by eliminating the bathroom door connecting to the bedroom a suitable surface could be found? I’d like a small pantry and a place for a trash can. If I went camping for 2 weeks I’d have a really tough time with storage - kitchen items, bathroom items, and big time lack of clothing space. Last, I’d like to know the dimensions of the bed created by the jackknife sofa. Love the patio and would like to see a railing around it. Way to go, Go Play!
Ty for the input. Local teams can measure those sofas for you
Hey Uncle Josh hope you're having a great day? I like this but I do wish you could turn the ramp into a patio! The set-up of this is great. Your number one fan an friend Leonard Nelson from North Carolina.
Maybe one day! I’m passing it up the food chain
FSX from forest river does some of that actually
And yeah.. true queen all the way
I would also need a fueling station, 25+ gallons for a manual fueling of an outside, ground mounted 3kv inverter.
Extra bed lift usually requires an rv with extra tall ceiling to have clearance below btw
I'd be ok to lose some of width of the pass through storage for the added space...but that's just me.
it’s tight for sure. TY for sharing
Propane oven/stove also good for sure
Outdoor speakers have their place and I know we'll use them on occasion but... yeah if you were going to cut something, that's an easy thing to justify cutting so definitely get your point.
Hi Josh,
We love your videos!!
When I looked at the unit in Anderson the propane line runs across the metal support of the sewer connections.
The only negatives is radius shower & short mattress, like everything else. Like the simplicity of Go Play & price
Agree and TY
Hi Josh, Thanks for all the info you provide. I was able to find several patio kits that will work but i have a couple other questions. Are the tie down rings welded to the frame? Even tho you don't offer options, would Bish's be able to put in the larger fajita fighting fan as an upgrade before i pick it up? Last suggestions add reverse lights to those big taillights, keep the 30lb tanks and true queen would be great for sheets and blankets, but that isn't a deal breaker. Thanks again😊
I do not know exactly how the tie downs are affixed and don't want to guess or just make something up. I suspect they're not welded directly to the chassis as that is costly and not something that happens at this price point among stick and tin haulers typically (more commonly found on bigger, laminated stuff)
Regarding upgrades: Yeah if it can be done we can do it at our stores. Fans are an easy thing we do every day
Hey Josh. Love the videos. Learning a lot with you. Just wondering if when you do the toy haulers, you could put everything up like you were going to load something? Thanks
I usually do… did I forget to move everything out of the way in this video?! My apologies!
I want my rv to have a stove an oven and a convection microwave.
And I'd want at least double the standard solar with great battery capacity. 👍 oh yah, and ventilation for the garage.😊
Sounds great!
Love this, I want one!
Operators are standing by! Lol :)
Burt Ty for sharing this
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a rough time with it. I haven’t heard this before but not doubting it
I’m guessing it’s been reported to our service folks?
@JoshtheRVNerd yes, and I've talk to Bish Fix as well
Does the ramp make a deck on this unit? I wish it had a pull down bunk over the rear living space.
Needs an overhead queen bed in the garage and three-season doors with screens.
And a bigger shower!!
Is there a difference between this and the jayco? I think it would be nice to have a pull down bunk like the mav27. On the other hand, it would be cool if the mav had the cabinets on the RH side... 27k is a lot less than the mav27 though
Yes. Think of them like cousins instead of clones. You can definitely see they’re in the same family but theyre not identical
Look at something like the Wolf Pack Gold series or perhaps a MAV by Grand Design. They’re a bit wider/taller and should be better suited for your SXS
@@JoshtheRVNerd yeh, both are a tad too heavy for my Ford Raptor to tow. I have an aluminum enclosed cargo trailer right now that I use. So, it’s tent camping for us. Looking to find happy medium. Wife isn’t huge on tent camping.
If they made this floor plan with a total length of 36-38 feet I would buy one.
I probably just missed it. What solar comes with it and what are the solar options?
Thanks in advance 😬
No options. Standard with 200w panel on the roof and a 30amp controller
Means you should be able to pretty readily add an add’l panel. Also has a plug for portable panels that can run in concern with the on board roof solar
I really like that one perfect for my 2 dirt bikes price is good to
TY!
The only way I can convince my wife on a new camper, is if Josh reviews it! 🤦♂️ otherwise, she’s not interested.
Just curious why the Ozark 2500TH wasn’t included in this list?
I've never had the opportunity to go through that one. Only recently captured my first Ozark models
Cool...now do Ember's new 'mini toy hauler' the 240TKR...please!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Then how 'bout the video of the 2024 221MSL in the meantime. 😁
nice video Josh
Glad you enjoyed it
I watched a video from another creator, he was at Grand Design talking about the differences between the Reflection lines.
“Decontented” is THE buzz phrase around in the industry. I predicted this coming months ago in my industry updates actually!
replace the oven and microwave with a really good toaster oven/ air fryer.
Looks like a twin to the Jayco 265TH
3 season patio doors as an option please!!!
i like it alot 😀😀😀
I love it but the lack of a patio ramp walls and a 3 season door is a deal breaker. To me, half the point of a toy hauler is the ability to extend the living space on nice days, since we don't really have the types of toys that require all that space! Because you're making a concession on the kitchen size and entertainment layout, it's too much of a compromise otherwise. It's definitely a step in the right direction though!
@@JoshtheRVNerd good info thanks, I did not know that! These TH's aren't our first choice, thankfully. But I do like the layout!
Looks nice just wonder if my side by side would fit inside it
Our local teams at www.bishs.com/contact-us can assist with that
Not being 4-season rated rules it out for me. Otherwise it’s heading in the right direction.
I have to say at this point in the video, which I am enjoying, is that why don't we just do away with the outside speakers all together! We are living in a new generation of blue tooth speakers where we dont Need those things anymore!!! LOL
You had me at “do away with the outside speakers”
Does this one have a patio option?
Currently.. no
Which kinda sucks
Our focus on “no options to control cost” shot us in the foot here in a way we hadn’t predicted
