- Watch what happens...
Students were waiting for buses to arrive after an unexpected early release day. The teacher that interrupts was necessary. We were trying to get the kids on the bus ASAP. The song was about over when he made the announcement. He didn't know it. The school was in lockdown. The buses were coming one at a time because of the unexpected release. To keep track of the children they were together in the gym and then this happens.
Little Wound School 2014: Ramone "Dave" McBride begins singing a Lakota prayer song during a school lockdown.
Several students join in.
I wish our youth council here in Salt River would show there was pride and sing our traditional songs, singing is the beauty of your heart.
OMG.. Ya.. This teared ME up!!!... Once Ur part of the Circle.. U can't "break it up"... That guy wouldn't have interrupted.. I believe it would've gone on until schools OUT!!!... MAY CREATOR BLESS ALL CHILDREN...EVERYWHERE

I need to send my kids to this school. They grew up in Minneapolis and they only know what I’ve taught them and it’s limited
I could watch this over and over ... our future leaders
Awesome.... That is power of the music and prayer, that they tried to take away from the people.. But they failed 🌠
We must believe in the super natural in order to make our world whole again.
Respect to our youth.

Exactly listen learn and feel... my grandfather is navajo and when he sang when were kids he would tell us dont be afraid to try and sing even if you dont know the word sing with your heart... and after he was done he would explain what the song meant. One of the best memories we have our with our elders 🙏🏽
From your heart 🙏❤
