    Thank you for making this video. It is very informative. To those that might be discouraged by this video, be encouraged. Ask God how you can improve the food that you are putting into His temple. He will show you what to do. For example, your butcher may have bone broth in the refrigerated meat section that is organic with no preservatives. Just eating more eggs and butter and fish might be what He wants you to do instead of dieting. Don’t feel burdened, His yoke is light. God loves you. He is our Helper. God bless you all. ❤

    Hmm wonder how gut health affects an epileptic

    • @elizabethtovar3603
      @elizabethtovar3603 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      A lot. I was able to rid my nephew of his seizures through diet. Took a while, but it worked!
      I made sure he was never overly hungry. Made him foods high in protein. Low sugar.
      I sweetened his yogurt with frozen strawberries and honey, instead of buying already sweetened.
      I made as much meat as possible for him. Specifically, organic beef with the fat. I made homemade tamales and soups. Protein shakes, like protein powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter and sweetened with a banana.
      Kept him cool as much as possible and hydrated.
      I hope that helps you. The keto diet was specific to children with epilepsy. Now, it’s great for diabetics and others. Not so much for everyone, but very specific for the above.

      @elizabethtovar3603 when you first began this diet how did you get past the child being overly picky. Bless his heart texture and such so picky and how u manage school lunches bc this where you find it really hard. Can't pack meat it seems that will keep until lunch. And he can eat a meal and couple hours be hungry again. How manage weight gain. He always hungry it seems. This was also an issue with breast feedjng it was never enough and had supplement with formula which broke my heart felt like i was failing him. And even formula had to have something thicker so he wouldnt have reflux.I feed as protein as possible but he got sweet tooth but limit junk and sugars. It's challenging for sure bc he gets angry with me but if has one I am like then u need have something with it meat wise. We do have a calf slaughter every year. We try our best to pick other meat sources. We eat alot tacos and speghetti he likes steak ....but doesn't last long. Am also constantly on him for drinking more fluids. He gets frustrated with me sometimes he a busy kiddo and doesn't want take the time to do so. He has Mecp2 it's a genetic thing causing his epilepsy. It has been challenging at times especially during the winter months seems like illness triggers these long seizures. They very complex I appreciate you telling me story. Thanks
