Lol thanks Colin 😁. We consider this more of a trade because we don't have any more room for tractors so if we want something else we have to get rid of one unfortunately and yes the carb does look a bit small but it's factory apparently lol. I think it sounds pretty good too but once we get it tuned up it should sound alot better hopefully 😁
Awesome tractor there sir, I just recently traded for the exact same tractor except mine is has all the original rust and crust and moss all over it but it does have new tires, live Hydrolics and three sets of correct wheat land wheel weights. Some day I hope to have it looking like yours

Other farmall’s and about a dozen other brands that I still use to farm my 100 acre farm. I’m looking for a W4 but here in Ohio you don’t see very many standard tractors
That's great to hear and that kind of sucks about the W4 they are a great little all-purpose tractor, we use ours quite often for most things that our garden tractor can't do. Also quite a few friends of ours have one and they love them , they are kinda a common tractor around here in Southern Ontario because back in the day most people didn't have massive farms and they were just the perfect little tractors.
I have the same tractor exactly. Mine the serial number is 6187J The back light is not correct and it's not mounted in the right place. The correct place is on the bottom of the left hand fender.
Very nice! Ours is serial number 6026 J. And yes all the lights are wrong on it we just haven't had a chance to replace any of them yet, but thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
@@tophercragg4812 You're welcome. The correct headlights for your tractor are the flat back sealed beam, and the correct rear light is usually the type with the switch and the red light, although a flat back sealed beam is listed as an option.
Nice tractor. I have one just like it. The best muffler is the restoration quality muffler from Steiner tractor parts. Sounds just like the original. Have one on my SW6 and my sw4. Also it should have the flat back headlights in front and the jewel light in the back. (little red light inside the clear light).

And very nice we actually have the original Muffler for it but just decided to put that chrome pipe on because it is short enough to fit in our garage door, the original was 2" too tall lol. But we will put the muffler back on when we take it to shows and as for the lights thank you for the information!

Looking at the math, ours would have been built right around the end of May 1953. It just turned 69. I could look up yours and look to figure out. Basically, it shows the serial number at beginning and end of each month, so you can get fairly accurate idea of build date.

@donvoll2580 The 414 had a bucket on it, and it was absolutely useless. Even after going through the entire hydraulic system, it would barely lift me, and I'm only 250 lbs it was not a good tractor by any stretch of the imagination. No, we don't farm with any of our tractors. For us, the super 6 is a lot better tractor. Thanks for watching
