The bouncy triple jump doesn’t let you wall jump after a triple jump which is kinda lame
Fun fact: When Mario grabs on to and picks up an object in Mario 64, the object that appears in his hand is not really the object he grabbed but rather a copy of it's sprite (or model in some cases). the real object simply deactivates and turns invisible. Once Mario lets go or throws an object, the real object will then replace the sprite copy and move along the course it was given by Mario.
This more than likely explains why objects grow and shrink when Mario picks them up here when he's large or small. The Sprite/model copy of the object is simply scaling to the size Mario is to fit his hands and why it always shrinks back down after he lets go. The real object never changed sizes in the first place, just the copied Sprite/model.

I like the original cap for two things:
1- The Metal is darker, so its more noticeable that it is reluzent. And looks gorgeous in both versions
2-(This affects the lore) Well, Diamond is easier to shatter or break, so it wouldn't make sense for this to make Mario invincible! 😂
