1996 vs 2001, the game runs better without SGI higher poly models, but it crashes with 500-600 goombas, not bad for a 1996 game.
Unreal turns out a 64 bit console can handle 500-600 goomba's
the pikmins were very very very very low poly

The port can, but the console can only handle around 50. On Emulator, the entire ROM corrupts after the same amount
Fun fact: If the “Spamba” happened in the normal game in Emulator, after around 50, it would corrupt.
On real hardware, it would crash
When a Mario 64 game corrupts, the shadows will occasionally become white boxes, any time you cause the painting to do the little effect it does when you enter it the game crashes, and occasionally the UI disappears

Is there any way to sort of mix-and-match mods to get the results you want? Let's say I want to use the SGI models as a base to replace all of the enemies, but I want to use the Mario and Goombas from Odyssey as well as a different Bowser and Chain Chomp, since I'm not really a fan of the bloodshot eyes. If this was a Fallout Game, I'd just load them in the correct order and possibly remove individual models from each mod that I didn't want. How would I get a custom setup like that for this game?
Now someone needs to add multithreading support and then test Spamba on a Threadripper 😅

@@gjk2012 when u start the game u have to press start then a menü pops up wehere u can see how many stars are alredy collected
There u have to press L Trigger x3 to actived the cheats
