- Chebe powder application on curly hair. As in my previous video, this woman was telling us that in opposition to many ethnic groups who don't wash their hair in her village they do wash their hair with soap once a month and she also told me that once a year she takes a one month break from her Chebe routine. You see how she stays away from the scalp while applying. She first apply a cream that she already mixed with oil, then the Chebe powder. But in her village they do not apply water before the Chebe session. We really advise people to apply water before your oil mix to maximize moisture retention. But it is showing that it can work even without water. Chebe is really amazing.

I don't see scissors laying around so I guess they don't keep cutting their hair every few weeks like we're told to do here in the states.
I haven't cut my ends in four years and my hair has flourished. I don't even have split ends anymore. Healthy hair ends don't split. I think that's why they don't trim there ends because if their hair ends are healthy it don't break or split that way they obtain 100% all of their growth

Ok Gwen, now we can see exactly the amount of powder/liquid applied and how many rotations. Also, where on the hair length down it's applied to, not so much high up on the hair shaft. 👍

My question is that since it doesn't go on the roots then how can it make your hair grow since our hair grows from the root? I guess that it strengthens the hair and prevents breakage.
EXACTLY!
Chebe doesn’t make the hair grow it prevents the hair from breakage. It aids in length retention, strength, and keeps the hair moisturized. Hair grows every day but if the ends are weak, dry and brittle then there will be split ends and breakage. The Chebe helps keep that from happening once it is applied heavily on the hair to the tips just like you see in the video.

I'm curious about chebe but I don't have any income at the moment so won't be purchasing it anytime soon :( but I love watching videos about chebe.
@@SARAVANDEGIRL try to put 4 spoon of henna , 2 spoon of Shea butter and 4 spoon of coconut milk powder mix them together with the use of tea water and wait for 2 hours to be fermented then applied to your hair for 2 hours , you will see your hair is not dry ...

Ladies. Does it work yes for me it did but the done side was it made my hair texture change. I had soft hair and I could comb my fingers through my hair. I can't do that now. My hair became really really thick.

It can be any form of hair growth oil or cream. Some even use jet cream. The main thing is the powder the oil or cream is just to mix the powder to avoid dryness

Everyone's hair grows at a slow rate. It not supposed to be magic. Likely yours is breaking too quickly for the growth to show.

You’ve got to keep the ends moisturized. Don’t ever feel jealous of anyone’s hair length or hair texture. Hair grows everyday but it breaks due to dryness, brittleness, and split ends. Just keep your scalp clean, moisturize your hair every 3-5 days, and make sure that you are eating well. Anemia, not having enough protein, and/or vitamins from fresh fruits and vegetables play a role in hair breakage.

Royal Lady the truth is there’s no how it won’t touch your scalp,if not when you are applying it but when you’re sleeping. If you watch her closely you can see that same hand 🖐🏽 is touching her scalp but she is not directly applying it to the scalp. So I would advise you to wait a little till you have small length on your hair or just go on and apply just very little on the short hair

I know somewhere on TH-cam I’ve seen a better breakdown of what was used...meaning in the cup. I did notice no water...unless it was mixed in that cup that had something green in it. Or unless it was an oil...when the lady got some of it out to put on the hair some of it fell and it looked like a type of liquid...not solid. Maybe it was some type of cream with the base being water. I also noticed the difference between the women in the states and these women...the Chad women put the powder on separate...not mixed into anything prior to application. I’ll keep researching this product.

Can you please show us how they style their baby's hair? Or just someone with short hair? The reason why I ask is because many of us (black women in african diaspora) have short hair for whatever reason. We want to try it but not sure how. Our hair is not long enough to do these gorgeous plaits.
What are you talking about, this has nothing to do with length. This about "technique". The same thing is applied to kids hair. It's just one has to allow the hair to grow. While maintaining the health of the hair. You can even look at my Instagram @wolfganglisborg to see hair techniques. I'm West African and I've paid mind to various tribal techniques from when I was a pre teen. The video here shows you exactly how to apply to hair. Obviously the video only shows application long hair, hence the comment. If you do a 'big chop' you probably cant divide and plait the hair, hence the comment. ''Its just 1 has to allow the hair to grow.'' Ok sherlock? So while we allow the hair to grow, how can we style short hair. That was the question, which again was self evident. You don't have to have long hair to put the chebe paste onto the hair.
They've been doing this for quite some time to get to this length.
FYI - chebe paste elongates the hair, (so you can use this technique on short hair) making it seem like its making it long when what its doing is stretching the hair strand without breakage and keeping the paste on the hair (don't put on the scalp, just the hair) for days at a time before they re-apply more chebe is what's keeping the hair in a protective state keeping it healthy and elongated.
Make a small batch to start off with ( on etsy they sell it already in the mixed paste form or you can get the powder and mix it with whatever oils you choose.)

Like cigarettes. I wouldn’t apply to much powder to the hair. Only from midway to the tips. The application in the video is acceptable for all the women in that village. But in the workplace, ur hair may smell as if you came from a smoke break.
You can add the Chebe to a cream, butter or an oil with essential oils to minimize the smell. A little powder goes a long way especially if you make your own hair recipes with it. If you use it wisely, it should last you about a year or more v
I use lavender and tea tree oil. They are natural odor blockers. Unpleasant smell is not a problem for me. Trust me, my grands will let me know in a heartbeat!😂

Cela montre bien que l'eau n'est pas indispensable à la pousse du cheveu si on sait les manipuler et les protéger comme elles le font avec les trois nattes et le mélange avec le chébé.
J allais dire la même chose. Peut être que le problème vient du fait qu on lave de trop nos cheveux. Peut être faut il les laver 1 fois le mois pour le cuir chevelu et juste bien les hydrater avec des huiles
Et des produits naturels une fois tous les 5jours sans en mettre sur le cuir chevelu.
@@achighen quand je dis que l'eau n'est pas indispensable je parle d'hydratation du coup. Du moins pas besoin d'hydrater tous les jours. Dans tous les cas l'huile n'hydrate pas. Il est important d'avoir un cuir chevelu propre, mais comme tu dis si on ne met pas de produits sur le cuir chevelu et qu'on ne transpire pas trop on peut espacer les shampoings.

Find a good moisturizer and either braid or two strand twist and leave it be. Stay on a regime to moisturizer your hair. If it's dry, it's gonna break off.

معقمة للفروة وتحميها من الالتهابات
تمنع وتقللل وتقي من تقصف و تساقط الشعر
يعادل حموضة الفروة والشعر
يوفر أهم عامل لتطويل الشعر وهو الترطيب
يغلف الشعرة ويحميها من الجفاف والتكسر والتقصف

طريقة الاستعمال
لا توضع على الفروة مباشرة وتستخدم على الشعر تجنبا للحكة لدى البعض او عمل اختبار حساسية توجد عدة طرق لاستعمال بودرة التشيبي
الطريقة الأولى:
تمزج ملعقتين صغيره الى 4 ملاعق حسب طول الشعر من البودرة مع فنجان (نصف كوب) او 100 غرام زيت للشعر اما ( زيت الكركار او زبدة الشيا المذوبة أو زيت النارجين جوز الهند للمسامية العالية
أو زيت الجوجوبا بذور العنب او زيت الارغان او اللوز للمساميه العاديه والمنخفضه
وممكن اضافة كمية مساوية للزيت من كريم الشعر لعمل خليط كريمي متماسك بشرط خلوه من السيليكون
يبخ الشعر بالماء او تونك مرطب للشعر لأفضل النتائج ثم
يتم وضع الخلطه على طول الشعر من الجذور للاطراف مع تمسيج الشعر
تترك أقل شيء 4 ساعات او يوم كامل او يومين ثم تغسل والافضل
يتم تضفير الشعر وتركها وكل يومين الى ثلاث يتم ترطيب الشعر بتونك مرطب واعاده وضع الخلطه وهذه الطريقة الاصليه ويغسل الشعر بعد 5 ايام الى اسبوع او اكثر
ثم تغسل من الشعر وهذه الطريقة التشادية الأصلية
تستخدم مرة أو مرتين في الأسبوع

الطريقة الثانية:
تنقع البودة ملعقة كبيره من الشيبي في كوب زيت مناسب لمسامية الشعر 250 مل من الزيت .
. (يفضل زيت الزيتون_الخروع_ السمسم_ او الكركار_ جوز الهند ) للمسام العالي
(زيت الجوجوبا _الارغان _اللوز) للمسام المنخفض
في علبة زجاجية وتترك في مكان مظلم وجاف لمدة 2 - 3 اسابيع
ترج العبوة كل يوم
بعد ذلك يمكنك استخدام الزيت لترطيب الشعر يوميا بعد بخ الشعر بالقليل من الماء وليس من الضروري غسله
الطريقة الثالثة تونك الشيبي
· موضحه في الفيديو المرفق في الموقع
· احضري شراب نظيف او قطعة قماش سميكة وضعي فيها ملعقة اكل من بودره الشيبي
· واربطيها جيدا
· ضعي الصره في كوب ماء حار واتركيها لمده 24 ساعة
· اعصري الصرة جيدا وضعي التونك في علبة بخاخ
· استخدمي التونك على الشعر فقط لان بودرة الشيبي تزعج فروة البعض وتسبب لهم حكه اما التونك لوحده او لتجديد ترطيب الشعر المضفر مع بودرة الشيبي والكريم مع التركيز على الاطراف وتستطيعي مسح القليل من الزيت على الشعر بعد التونك
يمكن حفظه في الثلاجه ل 3 ايام

That’s not a grease, that is scented oils mix. The Chebe has a strong smell, so the green oil she is putting in is a mixed of the woman’s favorite smells, so her hair stays hydrated but also smells nice.
