The conversation between Jack and Masika was so good that the moment I remembered that the conversation was just Felix talking to himself, I burst out laughing 😂
Yeah I was like "Wait aren't these two NPCs? Did Felix have this whole conversation go and forced his players to just sit in silence as he talked to himself? XD
To be fair, the guy obviously liked hearing himself talking way too much, he would have deprived himself from a prime opportunity of monologuing to the group if he hadn't allowed Sips an actual question

Sips has spent his entire life as an awakened being as a pawn in someone else's chess game. No wonder he just wants to get The Plot over with. He's vaguely aware he's a character in someone else's story
Another interesting bit is the awakening process was done against his will. In some ways I imagine sips would prefer to live out a normal ordinary existence without being an awakened animal. I imagine this episode really highlighted that facet. Of course, I'm glad he has an opportunity to start to evolve from an awakened being to his own person bit by bit (taking out an entire personality doubting your every move is especially important). It even tracks to how even killing the person who awakened and cursed Sips didn't really resolve much of anything within himself. The underlying issues were internal and simply have manifested externally by the lack of resolving within himself.
The most fun thing about this entire thing is that if Gothi did fully succeed in pulling the crystal from Sips, now he's more than 50% towards the curse, which would normally mean he's hardly in control anymore. Which is clearly something nice and with 0 bad possible repercussions at this particular point.

I think it is cuz he has clearly been trying so hard to manage by himself (and failing) that when he is honest and says he can't that he is opening up the floor for his friends to help him

The characters at the end of this episode, Sips: *Complete horror* Gothi: *angry and doing something semi irrational* Zanu: *Confusion and annoyance* Arina: *gets judiced after trying to be the judiced* Jack: *most likely being mangled by sneeze* Sneeze: *angry and bloodthirsty* The curse: *maniacal laughter and a need for slaughter*
22:14, with how severe things have gotten, I’d almost thought an intervention like this to be impossible with how strong a grip the vengeful Xanu, the curse and his own insecurities holds over Sips. Erina actually being part of solution was doubly surprising due to her appearing willing to do whatever it took to simply survive Sips if he turned against the team. All in all, this episode is quite cathartic and impactful. Team drama aside, I can’t stop imagining the Godrick the 3rd in a sigma male meme for how intense he is. Dude’s an out and proud psychopath that preaches the virtues of amorality in his quest for godhood, he literally replaced his heart with a second power crystal and shows it off just to emphasis that he will never stop grinding for more power, openly threatens his own guards just to make a point (or perhaps as a form of intimidation towards these strangers that have mysteriously entered his dimension), calls his guests weak to their faces and outright welcomes them to challenge him to a fight for the chance to prove his superiority.
Voice acting - 11/10 Especially since she's doing ALL the voices for EVERY character- that gasp at the end when Sips sees the crystal is no longer in his body- holy shit- gave me chills 😳
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you forget I can control a GIANT GODDAMN DRAGON?!" The most intense line I've heard in like a year. The other being last episodes "I'M BUILT FOR THIS!"
Sooo, at 65%, how badly do you think this will turn out for Sipps? Because if we recall, Xanu had explained that it took both of them to keep the curse at bay. With Xanu out, will Sipps even stand a chance at controlling it? I think that face at the end says it all. Can’t wait for the next one!!
@@absolutegeek4092 When does Zanu ever lie? On one end, he doesn't see himself the same as the Foreclaimers like the King. Too extreme. But on the other end, he's not that empathetic or even that similar to crystal-less Foreclaimers or Gothi. He's as different to the King as gray is different to black, but it's still the same shade. He has no reason to lie, like how the King has no reason to lie either.
That happened when Sips released the Tarrasque. Felix had to retcon things to come up with a way to subdue it. The whole thing with voodoo being used to choke itself into submission? That was less a viable way to subdue it and more a DM-handwavish way of letting the adventure continue because no one wanted the campaign to end at that point. Rule 0 comes before stat-blocks after all.
The fact that went from monkey gets drunk sing karaoke that releases the apocalypse To artificial god trying to end a whole specie cus trauma is insane and chaotic
@@xadoc1230 Yes, and then she said that after the campaign was over they wanted to keep playing so they retconned the world ending. It's stated about 30 seconds into episode 2 that the world ended, but Felix came up with a way to let the group keep playing.
Felix is the main quest giver, and very important to the story. I’d just treat it as he’s the DMPC in this case. If that’s not specifically how Felix played him once he joined the full party, I’d be surprised
I absolutely love the colors while they talked to the emperor blue and pink is such a vibe. The shading in general is just amazing Edit: THE CLIFFHANGER OMFG
@@LycanMOON What I think Felix was potentially going for is the Rebis. You see in alchemy the ultimate goal was to create the "Ultimate Lifeform" Known as "The Rebis" or also the "Divine Hermaphrodite." A being that is a reconciliation of spirit and matter, a being of both male and female qualities. A perfect being, a man made God. Emperor Goddrick wants to make himself and the Foreclaimers beings greater than mortals and Gods transcend morality and become truly perfect. The plan is no longer "make a God" it's "Become as Gods." I could be wrong, but the imagery all seems to be there. Traditionally there is a Sun and Moon representing male and female respectively, but the image on the ceiling of the throne room is two suns one pink and one blue which I believe is still indicating the same thing since we know what Goddrick's goals are. The lights maybe trans colors, but the motives mean Godrick wants to use the sun to become Intersex. (Sorry for the essay, but I started geeking out about a reference to alchemy that I was able to pick up on and wanted to share.)
Holy voice acting. Dingo voicing every single character, and yet they all feel so unique and fleshed out, just by their voice. Dingo has improved so much!!!!
I was fully expecting Sips to go like "you know Xanu, so far we have been fighting the curse together. And I was wandering what would happen to you if I too tried to let it in"
SAME!!!!!!! I kept thinking “could The Curse and Sips together imprison an Artificial God? What if Sips and The Curse worked together to hold Xanu down, the same way Sips and Xanu hold The Curse back from taking over?” I’m so happy someone else agrees! This series is amazing!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know damn well that exact breakdown happened at the table. With so much going on, every player (and DM) yelling at you and then all of a sudden you just breakthrough with your character. Like, those tears was real. That was a real scream. That was genuine panic and emotions. I been through that and I remember I had to leave the table because I was having an anxiety attack in character. What I mean by that is- I was crying and shaking but stuck in my character voice. Man, this video brought back memories.
Dingo, Dingo, Dingo... how is it, that every cliffhanger you leave us at, is more enticing than the last? This series is so good, we watch the new episodes during our TTRPG sessions when they come out. I cannot wait to see everyone's faces at the end of this one. Thank you Dingo, for making these. I absolutely love every episode that comes out. Every episode gets better and better. I cannot wait to see what happens next, but I will be patient. Take a bit of time for yourself, and rest. You deserve it
Yay because he fears zanu using her or not stopping the rapptors from hurting sneeze or I fear he send them after Vicky just to show sips had more then one I really worry.
nah, I think his horror is what’ll happen to him as person. Without Xanu’s help, will the curse take over right then and there? Sips wouldn’t feel like he’s strong enough to fight it on his own. Will he lose the ability to cast magic?
God, the longer this story goes on the more it starts to feel like I'm overcoming my depression again. All the story beats feel so personal and hit way too close to home for me... but I get the same feeling of catharsis I had when I started getting better. It's terrifying, beautiful, and stupefying all at once.
Episode 1: all chill just a monkey and friends singing karaoke Episode 29: betrayal and sadness the god zonu shall soon come back sips is at 65% terrified and confused just wanting it to all be over with
I got so scared my dyslexia made me really think the title said "Ending an entire series" I thought dingo was dropping telling us the story thank God that isn't true.😅😁🤣
I don’t think I’ve ever fallen so hard for a web series before. From its silly beginning, to this last emotionally charged episode, I don’t think I’ve ever been so gripped by a story before. Props to Felix and your group 👏👏👏👏😭
22:20 So many times I've completely forgotten that each character is voiced by the same person... It's crazy!! Every voice is clearly hers, but the tones, the emotion, the way the characters speak feel purely individual and unique. This series is awesome :'D
Holy, I'm in tears. That was got real intense at the end. Ah, I just realized that Sips and Xanu were having a hard time fighting the curse together and now its probably just Sips.
"I dont want to do anything anymore. i just wanted to do something that would help" "And you couldn't even do that right." 😭 THIS EPISODE HAS ME ACTUALLY CRYING. AND THE VOICE ACTING IS SO GOOD?!?!?! LIKE I FORGET THAT ITS JUST YOU VOICING EVERYONE. I LITERALLY LOVE THIS SERIES SM
The look in her eyes when she pounce at sips and succeeds in a one shot chance and is now taking her all taking her childhood friend into her head leaving sips in a very difficult place as now sips needs to focus more then ever to hold back his curse. My God that was amazing
Emotional whiplash is right. My mind is so reeling that when it came to the line of "dice death and dating" that my mind went to a memory of a Sims update... "can no longer 'try for baby' with the Grim Reaper". I do LOVE how well narrated these are! Do NOT stop them!
I genuinely have an addiction to this series. When I watch it it’s such a big shot of dopamine but once it’s over I fall into an abyss of dysphoria. This series is a blessing and a curse.
You are genuinely brilliant at storytelling. When you said, "...and our next NPC" in Emperor Goddrick III's introduction, my eyes legitimately widened because this is the first time you've said it like that. And now that I finished the video, the emotion you portrayed every character as having is something even veteran voice actors can't all do.
i really want to know how Felix ran the campaign and how he worked the players to be such a big part of the lore like i want to know did gothi always know she was a forclaimer or not id love to see a more detailed explanation of how he worked their actions into a really good and amazing story
Gonna throw Goddrick III into a volcano. Also, that cliffhanger is illegal because those last shots of Gothi lunging at Sips with the crystal embedded in her palm is mega cool and I'm screaming.
This series has had me on edge since I first binged it in 2018. I can't describe how invested I am in this story. Sips finally had his want, to be cured of his curse, only for it to hit and hurt him 10 fold later. He's tired. I would be too if I never felt in control of anything. Thank you Dingo for this wild tale. Please tell Felix I aspire to be like him with his compelling world building, character creation, and story line.
You know. I felt like I was getting ready and used to the sheer raw power of your cliffhangers. DINGO YOU DID NOT NEED TO DESTROY US THIS HARD! Holy shit and amazing episode!
I WASN'T READY FOR THAT ENDING!!!! I'm legit crying right now while acting alongside the video as Sips (y'all do this too, don't judge me). This party has been through ups and downs, and now they're in desperate need of hugs!!!
The design of everything from the sound and voices to the colors and emotions of characters faces. It's absolutely phenomenal. How is Dingo this good at everything and how is Felix such an amazing DM?
Does this mean that Sips will turn back into a normal Monkey, and will the curse take over since Xanu isn't there to help anymore? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! Great voice acting on this episode by the way!
WOW… and I thought I already new what emotional overload felt like. Anger and bloodlust for Goddrick. Sadness and empathy for Sips. Hope for Gothi. AND YOU’RE TRYING TO GET THE NEXT EPISODE OUT IN APRIL?! 😱
I'm crying so HARD at this. Your animation and voice acting has been super good but I didn't know it can get EVEN BETTER. The tiny eyes following the crystal in the end is MARVELOUS!
"I just wanted to finally do something that would help, that would make my life worth it" Damn, as a hypersensitive person, this line hit me right in the guts and make me cry because i just wanted the same. Thanks you ♥
Remember when this series was a lighthearted romp through D&D shenanigans? With like, karaoke, senile swamp witches, and... hands? Yeah... those were good days. Now Dingo has a vice grip on all of our emotions and twists slightly with each new video. You've gotten a taste of Felix's power Dingo... Is it worth it? The answer is yes... yes it is. Keep up the amazing work.
Genuinely speechless at how crazy this is getting. Every single episode ends on a cliffhanger more intense than the last and holy crap I can _not_ get enough of this adrenaline it's amazing
I had to go back to remember what the emotional gut punch was and uffda, this is gonna hurt. I honestly don't think the sadness has peaked yet, which concerns me. The fact that Jack learning that Masika's body is rejecting an implant is (genuinely) "on a less dramatic note" shows how much emotional trauma we have all been through.
Love this! The shear panic on Sip's face when Zanu's crystal was taken out was, just, peak emotion. Definitely curious as to how that's gonna go, curse and all!

That moment felt like a Chinese series with a detailed smear movement into that still while all the lighting budget goes into the eyes
I agree with you that scene was to epic, i was crying so much!!!

"and she... succeeds." The way you voiced that line and the gasp literally gave me goosebumps oh my god that was good
I never thought Sips could truely cry like that. Your voice acting is perfect
This is my most liked comment of all time lol
Brooo I didn't think so either
I feel bad for Sips, that monkey needs some help :(
Voice acting - 11/10
Especially since she's doing ALL the voices for EVERY character- that gasp at the end when Sips sees the crystal is no longer in his body- holy shit- gave me chills 😳
Absolutely agreed
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you forget I can control a GIANT GODDAMN DRAGON?!"
The most intense line I've heard in like a year.
Who said Zanu didn’t LIE?????
@@absolutegeek4092 When does Zanu ever lie?
On one end, he doesn't see himself the same as the Foreclaimers like the King. Too extreme. But on the other end, he's not that empathetic or even that similar to crystal-less Foreclaimers or Gothi. He's as different to the King as gray is different to black, but it's still the same shade. He has no reason to lie, like how the King has no reason to lie either.
@@AneitaLThe has reason to lie, if sips has no reason to follow xanu, xanu might have to make reasons, such as "i help keep the curse at bay"
Just remember she started this series saying she TPK’d the universe I’m still waiting for that
That happened when Sips released the Tarrasque.
The fact that went from monkey gets drunk sing karaoke that releases the apocalypse
To artificial god trying to end a whole specie cus trauma is insane and chaotic
@@shanoc5902 No I think they’re still getting to it because if that were true then the story would’ve ended and she said she did not almost
@@xadoc1230 Yes, and then she said that after the campaign was over they wanted to keep playing so they retconned the world ending. It's stated about 30 seconds into episode 2 that the world ended, but Felix came up with a way to let the group keep playing.
@@shanoc5902 Rule 0?
I'm fascinated Felix had two NPCs talking to each other without a player character present with Jack and Messika.
Felix is the main quest giver, and very important to the story. I’d just treat it as he’s the DMPC in this case. If that’s not specifically how Felix played him once he joined the full party, I’d be surprised
I absolutely love the colors while they talked to the emperor blue and pink is such a vibe. The shading in general is just amazing
Edit: THE CLIFFHANGER OMFG
Almost the bi lighting,
Nah it's trans lighting

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
is no one gonna talk about the amazing voice acting in this episode? dingo has really improved over the series, especially in 22:14 like damn

Yeah, it's amazing, CHILLS I TELL YOUUUU, chills... XD
I literally screamed “NOOOOOO” at both the cliffhanger and the part where xanu sent the things through the portal. It was amazing, good job.
sips is doomed to fall to his cares now
I know damn well that exact breakdown happened at the table.
Xanu calling out Sip’s bs and standing up for Gothi gives me life
Let’s go, time for angsty Sips!

Thank you Dingo, for making these. I absolutely love every episode that comes out. Every episode gets better and better. I cannot wait to see what happens next, but I will be patient. Take a bit of time for yourself, and rest. You deserve it
The look on sips face in the final frame just sends me chills you can tell he’s genuinely terrified
@@_Hollowstrix I just feel so bad for him he deserves so much better ;-;

Me at the start
“Ooooo wow”
Me at the end
“I’ve never been more upset at a cliff hanger in my entire life”
You are genuinely brilliant at storytelling.

Oh absolutely. Sips' breakdown in particular was INCREDIBLY performed. I could physically FEEL the emotion behind it. Top-notch as [QUACK].
And the last line gave me goosebumps.
Not to mention just how intense the voicing was for the Emperor as well. Really sends a chill down one's spine
Does this mean that Sips will turn back into a normal Monkey, and will the curse take over since Xanu isn't there to help anymore? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! Great voice acting on this episode by the way!
This more likely means that the curse would be taking over.
I love how as a DnD player my first thought when Erena stayed behind was "ah, player had to miss a session or two" xD
What a banger of an episode. That ending man. Poor Sips.

I'm crying so HARD at this.
Your animation and voice acting has been super good but I didn't know it can get EVEN BETTER.
The tiny eyes following the crystal in the end is MARVELOUS!
"I just wanted to finally do something that would help, that would make my life worth it"
Damn, as a hypersensitive person, this line hit me right in the guts and make me cry because i just wanted the same.

I swear, every time I finish a new episode of this series my screams of agony grow longer. The intensity, the pain, the angst. God this is so good.
This felt like a proper episode. Lots of details, lots of reveals, lots of everything frankly and no fillers.
18:46 the pure aggression in sips voice is amazing
Wow, what a cliffhanger. And man, the feels really were all over the place and hit hard. Here's hoping Gothi's decision manages to work out.
I just found this series... and proceeded to binge watch all 29 eps (well, 30 if you count the halloween special). Holy hell. This is so good.
I just want to take a moment and say that Dingo is a truly fantastic voice actress. That ending part just with Sips's monologue really hit me.
Love this!
The shear panic on Sip's face when Zanu's crystal was taken out was, just, peak emotion. Definitely curious as to how that's gonna go, curse and all!
not sure about peak but it did remind me of many memorable oh shit what the faces
I know this is mainly animation focussed, but that is quite impressive storytelling and voice acting, well done. Solid editing work too.
