Before people start saying I'm misleading on authenticity, the box sets I am referring to that are FAKE are the ones that come with multiple discs in a case and are printed on purple under-sided DVD-Rs. Geneon released a thinpak that is authentic, along with the ADV purple boxes. I want people to keep an eye out for those eBay bootlegs that are considered "seasons" as opposed to "R" (season 2), "S" (season 3)..etc. Individual copies are NOT the only authentic U.S. releases.
It's extremely sad that people are able to basically copy and paste these classics onto DVR's, slapping an "authentic" bull shit label onto them, and then profiting from it. It scams good people just looking to own this series. So this is indeed a good reference video to have! I've seen these bootleg's, and they are not cheap. While searching these singles out won't be either - I'd definitely rather have the legit copies than some fools gold version. Anyhow, great video! Impressive indeed!
I remember having a few of these DVD's. I sold one of them for about $45.00. They were really in high demand once the rights expired. A lot of people have a love for the English version as well as the Japanese version.
Very old video but you are (or were) missing the three movie DVDs and the two subtitled only uncut ADV box sets. And now of course the Viz sets of the original and Crystal.
I believe there are 20 volumes in volume 1-2. I remember seeing some DVDs on eBay. I thought I would let you know. Enjoy the series as I do too and nice collection.
