Upgraded to a RockKrawler 2.5 lift and 35" tires. The Tazer Mini was perfect for changing what needed to be changed and will be used in the future when I re-gear my JLU Sport S.
Thanks for the video! The instructions from ZAutomotive make it sound like it is right there but without removing the panel in the 2020 you have no chance of getting to them.
Thanks for the video because the instructions aren’t clear. Also those plugs are tough to remove you need plenty of time and patience when starting this process.
Yes, the Tazer Mini will work on your '24 Gladiator. If you're worried about a dealer noticing it, you can simply "Unmarry" the Tazer, unplug it and all functions will return to factory. Then, after service, you can easily plug it back in and restore your preferences.
Be nice if someone would post configuring tazer with laptop. Im having a known issue with manual jeep and bigger tires where i have 7 seconds to configure before limp mode locks out. Id like to know if laptop connection will work too. Not a single youtube video showing this sadly!

You can remove it, but you will lose an of the LIVE functions. It's best to just leave it in place, only removing it if you take your Jeep in for service.
You can shut off the Auto/Start Stop function under the LIVE MENU setting, so you have to start up the vehicle and make changes while the engine is running.
We prefer to leave it installed. You can remove it, but then will not be able to make any live function changes, like bumping up engine RPM for winching.
No, we didn't. They can be tough to do, sometime sliding a small screwdriver up to depress the locking tab while you wiggle it back and forth with your finger can help. I know this is old and you probably figured it out but for someone who comes here like me looking for installation instructions, there is a note in the current version of the instructions about how to properly perform a full reboot procedure and if it isn't done properly, the dash may not power down when you exit the Jeep and will drain the battery. Just something for folks reading this in the future to keep in mind!
I have the Tayser mini and I’m trying to Go in to the lighting option but it does not show the radio to allow me to tap in to the lighting option for my DRL’s LED lights that I just installed What do I do
The tire size setting instructions were not correct for my 2021 JT Mojave, the factory setting for my tire size had 33.07, my new 35 in tires measured 33.25 so my shifting should not have been as bad as it was, 33in tires are really closer to 31in in width, 35in closer to 33in and so on. I set it to 35.07 to match my tire size, not literal width and the shifting was sooo much better so no need to measure and use a level just use the tire size but you will figure that out pretty quick, just look as what the factory set for comparison.
I would love to see a follow up on how to unmarry if you want to unmarry, take to dealer, and reinstall. Love my Tazer but the instructions are not clear

When you adjust tire size does this only adjust the speedo difference or does it also adjust shift points as well? Just got an eco diesel wrangler with 37’s on it and it’s used and it’s getting terrible gas mileage. I’m wondering if I just need to do this and if it would help with gas mileage
Loaded question. The Tazer only corrects the speedometer, BUT, the computer decides on shift points according to the speed and engine rpm. By correcting the speedo reading, the computer will be controlling the trans shift points like it was stock according to speed. BUT if you haven't changed your gearing to match any increase in tire size, you will still not have the engine RPM to speed issue fixed.
@@northridgenation I used this to adjust speedo and did a full reboot in the menu and it seemed to help quite a bit. Went from about 12mpg to 22mpg. Most people I follow with the diesel don’t re-gear until they go to 40’s. Is that what you guys are seeing as well?

Northridge4x4 Yeah, Im aware of the Magnuson Moss Act of 1975, but my local dealership (also sells Jeep) HATES me. And I live about an hour & half from the next nearest dealer. So, I was just making sure it wouldn’t leave a footprint. Does it improve the throttle response? On the 2023, you don't have to pull that panel. You can reach it from under the dash, it's closer to the ALDL connector.

Yes, it helps the computer choose the best gear and make the best engine adjustments for the load.

You can shut off the Auto/Start Stop function under the LIVE MENU setting, so you have to start up the vehicle and make changes while the engine is running.

No, once a Tazer has been married to your Jeep, it can only be used on that Jeep.
