Was so happy to cop a pair on my first ever Nike SNKRS shock drop W. I have the 2016 playoff 11's (space jam's) 2018 Concords and 2019 Breds so adding these were a must. Was surprised that they didn't come with plastic shoe trees since Nike raised their prices. Great video and review!👍

These Gratitudes were executed so well! Concord is one of my favorite pairs of all time but the addition of leather takes these to another level. It’ll be way easier to maintain as time passes
The leather upper on the gratitude joints definitely made me think of the 72 -10s along with the milky outsole. Im not mad at it all all though bc my 72 - 10s outsole has aged pretty well.

For me, I like the icy bottoms better …. But… after a few wears they don’t look as good. I like how these are already yellowish so they won’t look as worn going forward. That’s my issue with most 11s. I don’t wear them often so expect them to look brand new always. I hate yellowing. I keep them in the box and everything. I have some infrared 6s that I won’t wear because I don’t want them to yellow lol.
In my opinion Gratitude is like the improved version of the concords, compared the mesh to the leather or the gratitude, they are both nice bit materials use separate them 👍
Bro honestly with the leather upper and gold hits, I think I might be leaning toward the gratitudes. I have so much respect and love for the concord, but if the gratitudes had the ice bottoms, I don't think it would be close.

my only jordans growing up were a pair of Jordan 6 olympics I only ever wanted Vans and Converse growing up, but those jordan 6's i got to match my older cousin cause he had them and i loved em alot. But in 2020 i started getting into shoe collecting and jordans, my first time I ever really started to care. I never liked the white mesh on the 11's. The leather on the gratitudes is how they've should've been originally. The mesh is cheap looking. The leather makes them a better quality sneaker overall
The mesh looks way better on the low-cut patent leather, but the leather on graditude and Swede cool grays that came out recently 2022 look good on the high cut pan leather that’s why I don’t have any other mesh high cut pan leather Jordan 11s only the old ones
I have both. And I love the concords. I had the OG pair back in 95, I was young wore them to death. had every version of retro concords since. Personally concords are special to me got so many stories and memories of that shoe. I coped the 2018 Concords, Because it is my only wearable pair, I would only wear them when I know the weather is perfect or when I know I going somewhere indoors and clean. Since I coped them I honestly say i only wore them 4 times because I am always stressed about staining them nylon uppers.... since they announced the Gratitude and i saw it had all leather upper it was an instant cop for me. I have since put my concords back in the box and these gratitude is going to be in my regular rotation simply because they are all leather easy to keep clean.
Of all my kicks the concords are my fav. I personally wear gold (yellow) and not silver or white gold so the gold touches on the concord making dmps just give that extra umph to the fit when I go to events. Dmps look more premium but then concords are just classic man! Can’t go wrong with either if you had to have one. But now I can’t beat my concords as my fav and have something similar fresh with the dmps

Nah im a 9.5 in jordan 1s and my gratitudes in 9.5 fit perfectly id research more on sizing. But if you dont have a wide foot tts will most likely be fine.

Definitely like these... We had over a 100 pairs at the JD I'm at.. But I still think they are overpriced. They shouldn't be more than $200+tax. With tax they come nearly to $250 that's insane.
They look great but those Black Patent leather on the side looks thicker than the DMPs and othe 11s makes me think twice on getting them. They look so fat and bigger

Your pair is the first pair that I’ve seen in the Midnight Navy 3’s with the thicker lines in the elephant print. All the ones I’ve seen in stores and online have the really thin lines. Both of my pairs that’s I picked up have the thinner lines which I like the thicker lines in your pair much better.
The gratitudes are a better shoe. The DMPs more nostalgic. The DMPs don't have as much attention to detail. The sneaker cut was a lazy attempt, it started the low cut patent leather on 11s. It had the jumpman issue. The materials on the DMPs aren't great. But the DMPs are the DMPs. That packaging is top 5 maybe 2 of all time.
You also gotta remember designer and the team didn't know nearly as much as they do in current time. Also there weren't "packs" or collabs that were coming out to the public like there are in current time. Those waled so these could run.
Both are nice, but gimme Concord 11s. Those are what the GOAT wore when playing. Those have more nostalgia to me. I’ll still grab a pair of gratitudes though.

And I chose the mid not having experience 😂 The way I see it is, I have to be realistic as to how much I'm going to spend on a shoe. Also it HAS to be comfortable, and J11s are one of the most comfortable. Being that I don't have the 2018 pair of Concords. The most obvious decision to make it to go for the new gratitude pair for HALF the price of the 2018 pair. Also, the leather upper is just so much better IMO; might even make them comfier.
Resellers like the concords because of money you get for em these will surpass that over time you won’t see these gratitudes every 3/5 yrs retro-ed the concords you’ll see at least 4 more times in next 10yrs.

did Jordan brand/Nike ever refer to this shoe as the “DMP”? .. or was it just assumed by the sneaker world after an early look? …because it’s called “Gratitude” and I personally didn’t see “DMP” made official. That’s why I’m asking though
