This is right up there as one of the nicest houses I have ever seen. Beautiful mix of old and new and completely lived in. Not too big. LOVE.
What. A. Gorgeous family. Gorgeous Home. Everything is just so beautiful and well put together.
Wow, not at all what I was expecting. I was thinking antiques etc. extremely pleased to see the modern influence. The house and gardens are spectacular.
How gorgeous. I love the balance of modern furniture in a traditional setting. I’m completely envious and curious how all this is afforded..
This home is a dream, so beautiful
Love the unexpected contemporary interior of this gorgeous period property. When old meets new (done correctly, it's a winner all round!).
Many maybe opposed to such a choice, but I think it actually brings 'new' interest to the original exterior of this period property and opens it up with fresh eyes to a generation of buyers who would have probably not have even considered it with it's original period and dated interior design esthetic. "Less fear of change".
Also, love the walled garden....something I would look for (or get repurposed stone and build one!).
The garden, the views...gorgeous.
I can dream myself living here. Love the old house with minimalism renovation but still keep that old soul. I might keep watching this video again and again.
And then he opened the garage doors! Holy smokes
That’s the dream.
That's how you know you can never afford a home like that
It's lovely. Love Georgian houses.
Every part, inside and out is so tasteful and wonderful. Particularly love their use of colour.
Everything here is so aesthetically pleasing! Beautiful n tasteful mix of the traditional n the contemporary, solemn yet lived in with a touch of quirk. Jaw dropping new built ‘carriage house’ and raised bed gardening are wonderful surprises. Just wow
My dream house. Just perfect. “If money were no object…”
Congratulations Modern House for the best work in your genre on youtube. You guys deserve some kind of reward.
This is a beautiful home. Congrats to the owners.
oh boy, I cannot get enough of this short movie ...
Great balance, chic and comfort !
the most beautiful space.......
I do like it, the architecture and their treatment of it is glorious. I personally wouldn’t pick some of that furniture for that house or that location, it’s metropolitan in a country setting, but it’s still fabulous.
Beautiful, beautiful home and grounds. Such a somber and colorless video.
Wonderful all round. This is the most perfect example of how a historical re-imagining of space should be created for family and friends, tranquility and perpetuity.
Would really appreciate contact information for the team involved in creating this home.
Beautiful space that blends modern and classic aesthetics eclectically, yet cohesively...Addicted to projects is an understatement when you have a large historic home, a huge vegetable garden, and at least three classic Porsche 911s, lol
One of the most beautiful homes I’ve seen on TH-cam, and goodness knows I’ve criticised a few. 😊
Wow think it’s the most beautiful home. Disagree with the comments about the pace think it adds to the whole exploration of the home.
Amazing, simply top top level.
What a beautiful house
Beautiful home

I think the interior looks great. Why do we have to restore 'to the past' (we don't wear large hooped dresses or powdered wigs). They kept the exterior the same, so no issue.
Thank you for sharing; stay blessed!
😍🥰👍💐🌼🌺🍀💖 Love fromm Marseilles
The film is very dark and couldn't get a good look at the inside
The furniture looks like intestines escaped their sutures.
I often wonder what some mean by the word restoration: "we told the contractors what we wanted" vs "we did this ourselves the DIY way".
I bet it's the former! $$$$$
The idea that it must all “really go” or match comes from those evil interior designers. The concept that everything does not match, is a conglomeration of ideas, thoughts, inspirations and things you love that do not match comes from the wonder of artists.
A good interior designer will help a client craft a unique space that speaks to them and can evolve with them over time. The best interior design is often not super matchy, matchy unless that was the specific intent. Particularly at this moment, layers, patina, and collecting seem to be well incorporated with the most popular interior design projects/styles.
Cool,,fucking cool...
everything looked nice and in measure ,till you show tha garage ... what an hybris, especially for a house in nature
😍🫀💐
Rich people umm I don’t live like that, not possible.
Awful furniture ecclectic maybe but is totally wrong for this beautiful classic home.
The furniture….really? REALLY?🤔
Tax the rich
Wife does not like this amazing house 😝
The furniture takes away from the house. Beautiful house though.
You have a huge home but your kids share bedrooms? Nice one
I wouldn’t say it’s huge. They may have other family not shown and they will need spare bedrooms for weekend guests in Somerset.
The music and the mood was very dismal
Some construction criticism :) Make videos a bit more upbeat. This one was pretty sad.
Totally agree. Gawd the music was so depressing…

See into the beauty, this is a dream
*Constructive criticism and I disagree, the music is apt for the location, the stillness and depth of the house and location requires a similar sounding.
knowing what it is like to live in england... this house would be dark and cold. a great place to be depressed in and have family squabbles.
Well then you know very little. 1. Living in a house with such huge Georgian sash windows, means interiors are never dark. The video has a filter on and was filmed in such a way to make everything look darker and more subdued for the “aesthetic”. 2. England has extremely mild winters compared to a lot of other places in the Northern Hemisphere (especially southern England), plus fireplaces and underfloor heating obviously exist in that home. 3. If you’re depressed in a beautiful, classical 18th century stone house such as this; overlooking a medieval church, castle and English country garden; in a picturesque village that sits in the gorgeous English countryside… then you have no appreciation for beauty. Let me guess you’re a modernist…
mainly funded from the bank of mummy & daddy though.. am i right?
