Bind the reverse thrust levers to decrease thrust on press, and then bind them to cut on release. That should do the trick for you.
I have the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant now for 4 months. As a XP-11 flyer, I enjoy the ability to work the throttle. BUT only 2 months in using the unit, I started to get problems with the thrust reverse switches. I first were thinking it was my poor ability to interact with the XP11 software. But later I realized the problem was not with the software of the switches in the levers, but the fact that the wires running inside to the controller card were breaking. I realized this when I opened the controller and visually inspected the wires. 4 of the routed wire were all broken. My observation was that the wire they were using is too hard, and during bending would suffer fatigue damage. Realizing this, it was not really possible to solve the problem by doing an exchange of the bravo unit, as this problem is a Design fault, and I would just be getting the same failure in the future. Therefore, I replaced all the routed wires with a thinner more flexible gauge wire and adding additional support at the tight corner bends. After my repair to date I had no more problems with the functionality. I do not know if other users have the same problem? Let me know.

Is a shame, I don't want to repair myself a 250€ device. I was about to buy it but I'll wait if they release a v2 or do a recall of the ones they sold faulty
I hope your personal issues have eased off. I admire and applaud you for admitting that. Mental and Physical health are very important. Sending positive energy!
For the reverse thrust, set the reversers to "decrease throttle", and when you press the reversers when the throttle is in idle position, the throttle will go back and trigger reverse thrust. If you want to stop the reverse thrust, you'll have to move the throttle up when you release the reversers to stop the reverse thrust, but other than that little problem it works like a charm.

You can set all the thrust reverses in one shot by pulling them all back at once in the settings when assigning. 👍

That trim wheel! I did not know that was out there. Using button or keyboard is so horrible I usually ignore it. Having the tactile feel of a wheel must be great to fly with. Thank you for putting out the Honeycomb video. Look like a well done solid build.

@@mateo1994 Right now I'm using the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS joystick and hoping to get a Hotas throttle. Then go from there once flight controls get back in stock in Canada.

If you haven't found it already, there is a fellow on TH-cam that has been creating videos of the Honecomb products. I *think* he has a video out that helps out with the reverse thrusters.

I am not sure if this has been said as I am not going to read through hundreds of comments to see. There is no lag on the spoilers and flaps. In real Boeing's to move the spoilers and flaps levers you have to lift them up before sliding them as an extra security feature so that your hands don't accidentally bump them. Whilst you only have to slide the Bravo levers you will see in the sim the levers are going up before it slides along the track.

Try setting one and 2 to trigger reverse under hold, then 3 and 4 to set max throttle hold.

Great Video! I luckily I managed to mount the yoke to my desk but at first I was worried it wouldn't work because the desk clamps are a half inch too small for my desk which is a bummer so I hope Honeycomb makes new clamps lol
How were you able to mount the yoke without the clamps??
@@mateo1994 I took the base that holds the yoke on and I used some heavy duty Velcro to mount it to my desk. It works great and I have had no issues and I'm going to do the same for when I get my honeycomb throttle quadrant.

Looks cool. Yeah instead of pushing the throttle up in reverse, pull it back towards you. That's how reversers work normally, the levers are just like locks, pull the levers up they unlock it for you to put back

I think it is worth it! If you enjoy flying airliners and general aviation it really makes the experience so much better and more immersive. I think you will like it. When is it supposed to come in?

I try it on xplane and it works fine, but on msfs it shows on controls and allow me to do everything but when I it fly the game crashes to desktop... any toughts to get it work? Thks
Hmmm that’s super strange, have you downloaded the driver yet? My honeycomb yoke works fine in msfs so try a driver maybe 🤔
@@mateo1994 I just find one driver that says " light's" and the others is for xplane and fx or prepad, is that all or am I missing something?
Problem solved. My bad, didn't have anything related to the yoke, I forgot that I place a new skin in the game just when the door ring with the honeycomb yoke and all this time is just the skin the problem. Best regards and thanks for trying to help.

Amazing video as always planet ! Can you increase the stiffness of the throttles?
Thank you!! And yes you can. The knob on the right side of the quadrant can be tightened and loosened to increase/decrease stiffness. I found for single/dual engine half stiffness is good. For bigger planes like the 747 which requires 4 throttles I loosen it up just a bit so it’s not so hard moving 4 at one time

Have Saitek X52 and have same issue with reverse thrust... I slide my button setup, then have to throttle up to get it to work.
Yeah super lame. Found a video on fixing it if you look up “honeycomb reverse thrusters” but I’m not sure if that would work for the X52

Hey! What problem are you having with the led right? If you want to learn how to make it brighter and turn it off there’s a tiny button all the way on the back of the yoke!
When the thrust lever is at idle can you pull them back more that that? I saw a red line below the place you had them at idle. does pulling them back from there when the thrust reversers are engaged increase the engine rpm?
It does have a detent and that’s exactly what I tried to do:/ only combination I could get to work was pushing the throttles up, I even tried setting that detent as max power thinking it would the same as the throttles when I push them up and nope, no combination worked so far:(
Nice video review, however I would like to point out airplanes do not have thrusters boats and rockets do. Bow thruster! Airplanes have reverse thrust. 🤣🛫

Do the throttle levers on the physical unit move by themselves with the auto trottle?
no, sadly. That would be a really advanced and cool mechanism, though it would also be cool if the ignition switch automatically moved from start to both after starting up a propeller plane.

Will the yoke and quadrant work on xbox when Microsoft Flight Sim comes out for it?
I don’t think it will come out on Xbox when you install windows 10 on a pc it has Xbox game pass to download Xbox games on ov so it might not come out on xbox
When downloading the driver, where do you drag it to?
Shouldn’t have to drag anywhere just download and install and you should be all set

Yes you can! I prefer to have a joystick for the stick planes just for realism but yeah you can use them on anything you want and customize the buttons for each plane

It will work with a laptop but it has to be a strong gaming laptop to do so
The back light on your yoke, makes it look like a toy. I would suggest you turn it off for your videos.
Love the red light. Specially when the lights are off, it makes a big difference and gives a realistic light coming off the instrument cluster like you would experience in real life

You’ve never flown at night then. Not necessarily red but the backlights from cockpit lights are usually orange/reddish

I would never buy another product from Honeycomb. I submitted a RMA request for the Bravo Throttle in April 2023. I still have not received the replacement and the reason is because their "shipping label machine" is down. Customer service is so bad. NEVER AGAIN #honneycomb
Damn that’s awful man I’m sorry to hear that. I usually hear good things from them. I’d keep emailing and blowing them up cause that is not acceptable

You can not at 5000ft 300 knots.max, 250, though many Airports they have a regulation, like 210,220 knots etc..😎
You really should learn more about recording sound. Your voice in that room sounds like pewp. Using a lav mic or a podcast mic is less technical than flying a sim plane.

You can always be able to buy the things you love and enjoy IF you budget correctly and save as needed. It doesn't take a rich person to build a budget and follow it. It does, however, take a disciplined person.
