I never met Erik, but in 78 or 79' they were filming at San Fernando park. My brother and cousin were riding their bikes around the set, and the set director yelled at them to get off the set. Erik also yelled at them to get off. His partner was there too. I always thought Erik was an ahole since then, but now I could understand why he yelled from afar, for our safety from the stunts and chase scenes. Wouldn't want to accidentally wander into those chase scenes as a naive kid and get hurt.
