Hearing Gackt speak English so fluently makes we wonder why Gackpoid/Gakupo doesn't have an English voicebank yet!
He sounds just as hot speaking English as he does Japanese.

According to Wikipedia, Noda lived in the U.S. from 6 to 10; I had to check Wikipedia and then this video because I was surprised how clear the English verses were in the Radwimps songs English version of "Your Name."
I never heard of Radwimps before watching "Your Name" today, so I thought Funimation either had a TH-camr who did English covers of Jpop songs to sing the songs in English for the film or Radwimps had a semi-band member who just does English versions of their songs much like how Jam Project has a semi-regular Brazilian band member that tours with them whenever they perform in Latin America. I had no idea that the lead singer of Radwimps was that fluent in English.

It's actually more difficult to sing in English than to speak in English. You have to actually pronounce certain words differently when you sing.

@@PassionPno Plus there's translation issues trying to keep the meaning intact while making sure the lyrics flow well, something that's not easy to pull off. There's a difference between translating lyrics to post on a fansite and actually adapting the song so it can be sung in English. Can you imagine trying to adapt Vanilla into an English song while keeping all the dirty double entendres intact? Half of those double entendres are next to impossible to translate while keeping the lyrical flow intact.

English is the second language of Japanese so it makes no difference that they may be able to speak English good or bad. They are making efforts to speak a foreign language that's sufficient. English speaking people have no capacity to speak the Japanese language.
i was shocked when i saw RCTI Dahsyat there. i couldn't believe that a Japanese celebrity ever went there before, it was such a boring morning tv show. And from what i see, Indonesia's English is as bad as Japan's, but just like Japan, the one who could speak English speak it very well, while the one who couldn't speak English.... yeah.... no offense, even i think that me English is bad, like really, you can see it from my grammar
