Even if I decide to build my own freestyle down the line I'll always have an amazing whoop on deck that I don't ever have to worry about fixing.
That's so obvious and smart that you changed C2 for "stop mottors". Before when things went south I always quick switched to Sport/Normal. Now I know what to do. Thank you.

@@deliveryguy_26 watch how fast you go when you make those sudden and abrupt yaw tumbles. I fly parabolic, not linear. That helps a ton on the PID loop (reaction at critical damping) on drone moves.

I strongly recommend to use 650, so you can get that cineripper feel. Many people asked for my real rates 940, which I doubt they will enjoy cos is too hardcore LOL.

Are u using HQProp DT2.9X2.7X3 but its for avata 1 ? The screw points are little different on props. Avata2’s are wider. Can u PLEASE give us link? I’m searching for a prop very long time coulnd’t find. And I don’t wanna purchase the wrong one.

@@bdigital00 it's all cause by abrupt moves that the gyro cannot predict, but so far I have it undercontrol. If you fly normal whoops it never happens. It does a weird move when I do juicy flicks only
This is my 1st drone and after about 3 batteries of use I can do some of this kind of stuff with just the motion 3 controller, which is amazing. Some day I'll buy and figure out the sticks but just excited about how daring I can get with the motion 3 and not destroy this thing! I am sure to crash hard at some point though. I see you have some kind of protective plate on the top and maybe the bottom too. No gimbal guards? I am looking at those too but like everything on the web, I see, "must get these!!" and also, "never used these!!" for the same addons. I found and ordered the rib riders but what else do you recommend adding for protection? Thoughts on some of the landing skid add-ons out there?

Hi brother, may I know plese what did you use to enlarge the external side of the screw holes for the 2.9x2.7x3 HQProps? I also got them but I noticed that the holes are not aligned, the external side of both holes would need to be enlarged a little to make the screws fit straight. Otherwise I could use a drill a bit bigger than the hole but that would make the whole hole bigger and not only near the edges where it need the extra space. Thanks!

good question. I can say it won't affect, unless you do a massive dive that could create massive turbulence around the surface area. Look how swift the flips and rolls got after the trippy spin. Of course, I would love to fly this drone with no ducts.

I just got the Avata 2 a a few days ago as my first real drop aside from a cheap holy stone cross from amazon a few years ago. It soooo much fun just using the motion controller. (Eventually I'll get the FPV controller lol) But I do notice it makes a flutter noise when making a sharp turn that sound similar to waste gate flutter on a turbocharged car with no blow off valve but does not appear to be physically shaking (camera is in rocksteady mode). Could be because I let off the throttle a bit too much towards the end of the turn? I am new to this and being cautious. For now that is. You got some skillllz putting on a display of what the Avata 2 can do! Subscribed!!
Thanks Dan. That is called prop wash and also happens on regular fpv freestyle drones. Take a more elliptical approach to your throttle or yaw move, and that should take care of that problem. Practice and enjoy!

Grazie fratello. This is why I call it custom props, because it's not design to fit the Avata2. These are slimmer and with lower pitch and won't lock on the bell holes. You must use shorter screws and fit them snug. The 3D top cover/bumper print file is still being tested, and will release the file for FREE once it can pass my nasty crash test.

Is the hole distance on the original Avata 2 propeller exactly the same as the one on the propellers you recommend?

@@dronarchy hehe thanks for the advice, but im already used to 900 deg/s on my other fpv drone with these rates: RC rate 0,90 S rate 0,80 RC Expo 0,10 max 900 deg/s. So I think its safe for me to try yours on the Avata 2. I only got it recently so hadn't looked into the rates on this one, and used it to fly indoor mostly so no need for acro rates, so this came at the perfect timing for me :) Also the improvised arm switch is a great tip! The Avata 2 is an absolute allrounder. Of course it's not that fast like a pro racing copter with 200 km/h, but it's definetely a great, safety, beginner friendly and immersive copter with Motion 3 Controller. With Gamepad i Think it can be a lot more fun. Unfortunately it's sold out at this moment.

Not at all. If I make a jerky move with the sticks, then it will obviously show. Notice that the first 2 rolls I made that mistake.

you are correct. I had to use Avata1 screws to fit properly. I feel more control due to lower pitch props. MyFPVStore has them available right now!!!

I recommend to start with 650 or 750 till you get comfy with the drone. Then crank it up accordingly.
@@dronarchy hehe thanks for the advice, but im already used to 900 deg/s on my other fpv drone with these rates: RC rate 0,90 S rate 0,80 RC Expo 0,10 max 900 deg/s. So I think its safe for me to try yours on the Avata 2. I only got it recently so hadn't looked into the rates on this one, and used it to fly indoor mostly so no need for acro rates, so this came at the perfect timing for me :) Also the improvised arm switch is a great tip! Thanks again and keep uploading these bangers!

@@dronarchy I have watched several avata 2 videos, and I have noticed that very often, that image is stuttering from time to time for 0.5s. Like it loosing some frames - idk.

The Avata 2 is an absolute allrounder. Of course it's not that fast like a pro racing copter with 200 km/h, but it's definetely a great, safety, beginner friendly and immersive copter with Motion 3 Controller. With Gamepad i Think it can be a lot more fun. Unfortunately it's sold out at this moment.
noobs and pros can squee.e the value of this tool. I always have fun and feel secure flying. Good drone for many shot styles.
