Glad to see some love for the Factor Ostro. It is definitely the best bike that I have ever own (Bianchi, Cervelo, and Specialized). Stiff yet comfortable.
Another great review, these bikes do not get the attention they deserve. I bought mine in December to replace my Sworks Tarmac. Absolutely no regrets, this bike is AMAZING!! Stiff, compliant and fast. Also, It's available with a zero setback seatpost.
I built one for a friend, I really liked how they have done away with the expansion bung in the steerer tube and have a female thread bonded all the way down the steerer so you just cut the steerer to length and tighten down the top cap without messing around with expansion bungs, as you noted the frame comes with Ceramicspeed bb, and bushings fir Shimano or Sram, and Ceramicspeed headset, the frame kit is really comprehensive, it’s a nice finish too 👍
Just got my Ostro TDF edition 2 weeks ago. 16.02lbs with pedals and cages. Sram Red. You can get the bike with a 0 offset seat post. You missed the aero channel that is built into the bottom of the downtube up by the forks. The handlebars are so sweet aesthetically and functionally. Factor make superb bikes and as you pointed out, build their own frames/components.
that tdf edition is so nice!!! I want to see one of those in person, they have some of the nicest colors out for sure and also there logo on the bike looks very nice
I've always liked the look of the main logo as well as the holo-mirror graphics but all the secondary logos are kind of distracting but that's a criticism I have for S-Works SL7s too. They could remove 50% of the secondary logos and you'd still know it was a Factor and it would look super clean. Matching glossy wheels and bars would have made this bike look insane.

Great video but need to make one correction. The “super tuck” position was not banned due to the top tube construction. It was banned due to a potential safety concern based on the riders position.
Such a beautiful looking bike! I was nearly about to pull the trigger on one, then a good deal on a 2022 Giant propel came along for half the price with Sram Red/Cadex. So it was hard to justify the difference for something that's 90% of the bike and still more than I ever need.

That is a seriously HOT bike. I want to ride that thing pretty badly.
I would love to try one out one day
No mistakes? How come that this light frame -based bike is 7.1kg without pedals and cages?! My old xr4 (2018) with pedals, cages and gps+light holders is 7.1kg, ULTEGRA-based!
Anybody else know this as Phil Gaimon's bike?
Definitely a company that does not market as much as the heavy hitters.
I mean you can say they do not market, but they have phil on one, whos a big influencer, you have chris froome on it for team Israel, who is on TH-cam as well, and does videos about them, rony kuba another youtuber, then they do a lot o advertising for sales, not to mention there pro teams, they are a big company with a strong reputation
EVERYONE SAYS THE TARMAC SL7 IS THE BEST EVER. I'm torn between a Specialized or this OSTRO. THE oSTRO WEIGHTS MUCH MORE, THE sl7 IS MUCH STIFFER
very nice bike
And the wheels is 1500 grams. So a lot to save on lighter wheels 😅
yea this is true but also those wheels for that depth si not that bad
Compared to hypers, drive40 and the upcoming mega? Yes they are 😅
Love it
Dude you make me spend too much money lol my wife’s gang kill me. I just ordered the new version.
4 week wait is Hana kill me!!!!
hahahah that is awesome I have the new version video just did recently

Phil Gaimon is sponsored by Factor.
yea I have seen that, they do a good job sponsering nice influencers and also strong riders
lol That chimney has gotta go. Cool bike, Great review
hahahah it will once there is a buyer, you think the rider wants to keep it like this lol
@@GCPerformance18 You're right of course:)
2023: Black Inc
2024: Written Off
they are changing therre name?
7kg but size XXSmall 😅
I think its a small
not biased at all.
Lmao I don’t sell factor this isn’t even my bike shop, I have no affiliation with the brand or bike store I am at. Just speaking freely with my experience in terms of price of a bike for that tier of components
Size: kids size!!
Sweet
Only 10$k 😂😂😂😂😂
I have this bike
very nice
it might look the same but in reality, they are totally different with the type of material used to build one. Mass produced bikes are not the same as factory ones made for racing.
yes so we have heard, I would love if someone can just risk it or come out and just confirm it 100 percent just too shut this whole argument up
I am Shoicked too.
same here, my =dick shrunk and then grew in the 10 min during the video.... totlayy shocked
Terrible value for money. No power meter, heavy wheels, cockpit etc. If money isn't an issue, then yeah it looks good.
wheels and cockpit are one of the llightest out there in terms of companies sister manufactorers black inc is very well up there, the power meter for those cranks as well are kind of shite
10500 you on drugs bro? Ridiculous
yes i am
@@GCPerformance18 what u take? Can i have some?
My Rinschlta weight 7,39 with pedals and aloy wheels so what the deal, its still the "fat" biker who make it go fast or slow
What a joke, without pedals without bottles without head unit.
My bike is lighter with all those added.
I am sure it is an old bike rim brake that has no aero properties and horrible braking power
Did you Just call chris froome a "youtuber"???😅😅😅
hahaha no chris miller
too heavy for the price
that is a not a bad bike for the price
Why in the world would anyone want ceramic bearings in the headset?
it is meant to be so high quality thast there is no need to service it, thats the beenfit of the slt
Sure to be a noodle to ride.
hahah thats what IU wonder for my weight it looks very thin
Seatstays look like burnt spaghetti! Not looking safe!
hahah I mena they are riding them in the tour
Expensive overrated bike manufacturer
wah wah wah, mah wah, mah mah mah, meir cat wah
Another Chinese bike.....meh
mahhhhh
Ive only been shoicked once in my life
hahah mother fucker!!!!! dont u dare correct my typos lmao
I'm shocked anyone would pay that much for a mainland China sweatshop made and cheaply fabricated cookie cutter bike. Fools abound! 🙂
Its not a bike if it got no pedals on it..
it is a stock binke I am showcasing
