It must have been hilarious getting to watch it as part of the live audience, I love a blooper lol Funny story - I saw Bottom Live 'An Arse Oddity' in Glasgow, and some of the funniest bits were when Ade and Rick forgot their lines or started winding each other up, I bought the DVD when it came out, which was filmed somewhere else, and the bits that go wrong happened *exactly* the same - they were scripted! It *was* kinda dissapointing, but then, Ade and Rick are so funny when it happens, I had to forgive them for it, plus, they *did* do some jokes about Glasgow and local football and stuff, and when they start ripping each other, they are genuinely pissing themselves, so I think they must write 'ad lib here' and just go for it every time and try to outdo each other 😂
The best comedy series ever on British television. The outtakes are just as funny as the show. The banter these guys had was immense. Ive read a couple of behind the scenes books and they had a riot filming thes episodes. To the whole crew... Thank you!

I watch it religiously every sat and Sunday on ukgold , that's the only reason I've sky , the good thing is though I've got my 3 kids watching it too , they know quality when they see it !! No comedy will ever come close !!

Lol, I'm currently watching a guy from the Bronx who's watching Open All Hours and Only Fools and Horses, among other things, he's already reacted to every episode of Porridge, I love that about his channel, he finishes whatever series he starts, plus, he doesn't talk over the show, like a lot of reaction channels do, he watches it all, then gives his opinion at the end, it's Bxkid7 if anyone's interested, he's already watched all of Still Game, Dear Green Place, Limmys Show, Burnistoun, and I'm watching Karl Pilkington, Friday Night Dinner, and a few others, can't recommend this guy enough, he's taken us Brits, and especially us Scots to his heart, and regularly shouts out '2 pints prick!' if there's a pub scene, honestly, the most genuine guy I've seen do reactions, 😁
Technically Grandad's comment about the Wendy House was meant to be an outtake because that wasn't in the script. They left it in because it was so outrageously funny and David Jason is seen genuinely cracking up in the next shot.
that's just his way, he was the same with his tv wife in the darling buds, she told a tale of how he brought a cucumber and hid it under the sheets then kept subtly poking her with it during a scene bcos he knew she would struggle not to laugh lmao 😂😂 he was always playing practical jokes because he wanted to keep the energy high and light.
