What's the plan? What should they do? Stick together?) I'll surprise you, but no, people who have different views on life will not stick together, under any circumstances. This would not have helped in defeating KG.
Something that also happens is, that in the final portion of the game (chapters 5-6), a bomb is detetonated (D1: Monokuma bomb, D2: Supposed nuke, ends up being fireworks, DV3: K1B0)
8:34 Gundham and Nekomaru are always the GOATED CHARACTERS BECAUSE THEY BOTH LEGIT SACRIFICED THEMSELVES IN Danganronpa Goodbye despair and SAKURA I LOVE HOW SHE DOESN’T WANT ANYONE TO DIE AS WELL WHEN SHE SACRIFICED HERSELF SHE WAS ALSO MY FAVORITE CHARACTER when I started getting into Danganronpa series she was my favorite character we all got to respect her for her sacrifice but it kinda messed up since she was being put under pressure by Monokuma exposing her as a traitor which that kinda messed up tbh.
As an aside, Kaito's death/execution was a perfect metaphor for him and what he stood for. He acted like this super-awesome hero but was mostly an exaggeration. Still, he was awesome enough to rally and inspire the rest of the group. Also, Kaito always claimed he was gonna be this big-time astronaut, becoming "Luminary of the Stars". But in death, he only got to see the very fringes of what could be called "space"; which is still a pretty big deal considering how few people ever get to go to space. In the end, Kaito died as he lived - not nearly as awesome as he pretends to be but still pretty damn awesome.
Kaito’s entire point was to make his dreams come true but at the same time he always put others before him. Despite his selflessness he still went to space.

let's see how many of these phases happen in my fangan: Prologue: both phases (though it's my mascot character, rather than Monokuma). Chapter 1: while there are some characters who stick with a specific few (ex: the bromance, protag and supports, etc.), everyone mostly interacts with everyone. also, there is no betrayal from the MC's close friend. the murder also goes nearly as the killer planned, barring some issues that arise due to his Ultimate Luck backfiring. on top of that, the victim was also the initial target. the victim was also expected due to being the group leader and being the most prominent character aside from the protag. the last three do happen though, but for spoiler reasons, I won't say what the trick is. Chapter 2: no new friend, since the MC had two other characters they got close to in the prologue. this is 1000% a heat of the moment kill, since it's in self-defense. the corpse is also moved to another room. no serial killer reveal. the killer is also revealed to be a member of a morally gray organization shortly before their death. on top of that, the killer tried to frame the antag for the murder, and as a backup plan, their own best friend. the victim's reason for attacking the killer is linked directly to their past, which includes deals with the yakuza. Chapter 3: there is a double murder. the killer does not have a breakdown, and instead remains stoic in the face of death and defeat. this killer had an incredibly selfish motive, as it was over a deal they made with the mascot which they knew wouldn't be fulfilled. Chapter 4: muscle dies. it's in a sacrifice, since they know they had no chance of surviving the game anyway. the antag actually attempts a murder this chapter, so I think that counts as a troublemaker. Chapter 5: admittedly, I haven't gotten to writing his part yet, nor do I have a lot of details planned, but I think the first three phases don't apply. although, the fourth and fifth do apply to the killer. the execution goes unimpeded, but it does result in future consequences, so it might count. Chapter 6: hahaha, no infodump here. I did that in chapters 3, 4, and 5 (mainly 3). plus, this isn't a mastermind case, as this game's mastermind isn't a participant, nor is at risk of execution. instead, it's a murder case where the support is the victim, and the final antagonist of the game is the killer (note: not the antag). so overall that is 18/26.5 phases I do in my fangan (as of now. as I said with chapter 5, there are some that are subject to change).
@@HahaSaraiamapolicemanYeah the another series follows some plot points and the basic overarching theming of Official Series. But it subverts enough tropes to make its identity original and strong enough. Good stuff.
@@HahaSaraiamapoliceman Agreed! Thats why that series is my favourite games out of all official and fan dr series. Its just so good. The cases are also a HUGE cut above the other Official and Fangans. Especially Game 2 Case 3. If you know you know. I wont say much else.
If it would make the last phase fit with the others in that case: -Mastermind Reveal - Biggest plot twist - Plot revealed - Ending Danganronpa How about it?
i’m really glad you put this together- i’m always relating the cases from one game to another and finally it’s all it one! maybe a spoiler warning for what kaito says near the beginning, though? and that music is hella loud compared to the voices lol.
Okay, but like, everyone relies on the protagonists too much, Kaito for example in trial 2, he said he knew something(I don't remember what it was) and he wanted SHUICHI to say it and Shuichi didn't know lol
I mean, I don't exactly consider Kazuichi taking Hajime to the beach to be equivalent of Kirigiri and Kaito. But yeah there is a lot of patterns in Danganronpa... I am looking at you Double Murders of 3rd cases.
Btw, the music is loud because otherwise you hear the background music from the game/anime which is hella wack

A bit on the stranger side to act as a transition to chapter 5.
