Great stuff! My wife just got a 23 Q5. I was looking at tuning it. How’s the tune doing after 3 weeks? I saw IE makes an intake for the 2.0 as well. Might pick that up.
Interesting. Do you need to use launch control all the time and be in dynamic S in order to be quicker? I usually just stay in comfort mode. Is it quicker in that mode?
So the drive mode and the gear selection are a little bit different/unrelated but also related. I'm not an expert, but I'll try to explain my understanding. First - You HAVE to be in S and deactivate the traction control to activate launch control. Launch control is basically drag race mode. Regarding the Drive mode (comfort, dynamic, individual) those are more about the handling, suspension, steering feel, etc. The gear select (S or D) is about throttle response and exhaust. Putting the car in S opens the exhaust and increases the RPMs a bit and gives you more torque response and aggressive shifting. Can you benefit from a tune in comfort mode? Technically? But you get the most out of the tune while in S and dynamic.
Something tells me she would've had the same reaction stock and putting it in S. 🤣
I've never done turbo before either 😁
I just ordered stage 1 tune for my 18 S4. Can't wait for Friday when the tool gets here
You’re going to love it!
You just sold me on tuning my wife’s Q7! Lmao
If only I made commissions! 😃
@@midlifemods lol you should tell Sean at 034 to pay you! Get you a coupon code lol
Warranty over this month so just in time for fun in my a4, and also the tcu makes a huge difference in 0-60 times😏
Nice! TCU tune wasn’t available for this specific car. But hopefully someday.

It has been great! Very nice upgrade. No plans for an intake.
I have unitronic stage 2 on My 18' A4 and it really woke it up. 0-60 4.4 with launch control.
Stage 1 only for right now

My wife would kill me if I did this to her car..
You sure? One way to find out. 😂
Why no TCU tune? Dynamic plus stage 1 come with it
They don’t actually have the TCU tune yet for this model even though it shows up on the menu.
Hope the 2022 ecu able to get it soon 😢
Nice video! I also tuned my wifes b9 Q5 and its awesome. Huge difference :)
Right? Definitely worth it. My wife’s all season tires can’t handle the new HP and torque 🤣
0-100 in 6 seconds not great wtf??
😂 maybe I’m spoiled because my S4 does it in 3.2?
@midlifemods my moms a4 b5 1.9tdi does it on 10.5 😭😭 I think you veeery spoiled phahaha
How could you possibly take your wife's car from her place of employment!?!?
I’m just that sneaky
Launch control to 30 😂
Tou can explain it as you increased the efficiency, so saving her fuel money.
Okay now do more. 🫵🏻
I like your style! This was a just a gateway mod. 🤣
