I think if the Red and Black Spitting Cobras were smart, they would use your content, get agents, and start modeling. They are so beautiful with such vibrant colors they could easily sell muscle cars, sports equipment, energy drinks, soft drinks, banking accounts, motorcycles, tvs, you name it. You take a cut of their pay as agents and live like you really want to. In all seriousness, the videography and content is absolutely the best I have ever seen. You both deserve a bigger platform than TH-cam to broadcast your material. I have learned so much and have a deeper appreciation and fascination for these critters than I did before seeing your channel. I am a HUGE fan because of what you are doing, how you are doing it, and the education I have received here in the comments and from your videos. You are so lucky to see these animals in the wild. We recorded more versions, in some we had some of our snakes with us :) We thought that it was nice to include them as they are stars of our educational programs about snakes for kids here in the Czech Republic. We did not think that it will look silly or something like that...Let's hope that viewers will like to see us at the end of videos :)

Awesome clip again! The Yellow Cape Cobra is a real beauty! But by no means a good camouflage color on the red sand. The poor Spectacled Cobra (Naja naja) is eaten alive. Kingcobra Venom is weaker than that of the other cobras. Big Gaboon Vipers are really very impressive snakes. The hunting dice snakes are cool. Visibly very common in this czech area. Cool habitat!
That pit viper being able to only open one side of its mouth was actually pretty amazing even if I hate snakes lol thought I would come fir a good scare lol

do you have a drone for aerial footage i dont know how they get ground footage without the snake biting incredible video please be carefull with venemous snakes have a snakebite lkit or a hospital nearby if not death is likely
I honestly wonder how much of this is "stage-managed" - as in - camera-man spots a snake, gets his camera into perfect position, _throws in a lizard/rat_ & viola - a perfect "natural" video.
Honest answer for you, in some hunting scenes we helped the situation to happen as we don't have finances and time to wait for a month at one location :)

It does not get any better than this. So many questions! Can spitting cobra venom injure or kill if in eyes? Is spitting defensive only, or can they incapacitate prey via spit? How do snake's skeletons deal with large food items (seems like bones would break)? How long before the eggshell is regurgitated? The absence of humanity and excellence of photography make Living Zoology a favorite of mine.

I swear, those mice ran towards the Gaboon heads on cue. I imagine they were trained with a faux Viper head -feeding dish back home.
