Have you ever tried only switching out only the head and arm pieces and going triple Galea and Versus into Braveforge? Also for the head piece, double Galea into Crown/Balance (this depends on the matchup)

So for the new spec, I know the extra/duplicate equipment takes up deck list space, but do you have to have actual second copies of duplicates? Like 2x grains or 2x galea?

Yes. The first one goes to your graveyard, where it can be manipulated.

Can you start off playing 55 cards? I thought it's 60...

You have to at least present 60 cards to start the match. Plenty of players have a "core" which the same '55' cards will be the same for every matchup.
