looks like garbage, you can achieve a better end product without the shit inside with aluminum hvac tape. I use it on my giant scale RC aircraft to look like aluminum skins on aircraft, it polishes to a mirror shine too. also chrome paint works well if you get the testors buffable 'metalics' aluminum paint. I couldn't leave a model I made with inner fenders looking so crappy, it would be like looking under a 16th century antique desk only to find 400 years of boogers and gum LOL
Hi i just saw this build and im just amazed by this ive been workin on workin with styrene and im havein a bit of trouble bendin styrene i saw u usein a heat pad or something id like to get somethin like it may i ask what it is and were i could get one i tu for your time
great job. looks awesome, but I cringe every time your hand or fingers are in the way of the blade direction haha. usually if you've needed or seen someone that's needed stitches from a blade cut you place your hands differently or use something for protection.
Usually there are a few cuts on my hands. Don't worry, I'm used to it, I spent whole summer in the village when I was a kid creating and destroying things.
This is peaceful . Hearing the wind blowing threw the trees and a slight hint of a Owl way in the back ground noise . Then the sanding . Heck I can even hear the thoughts of this guy building the body . All most like GOD is there and he thinking to him self saying GOOD .

March 31, 2018----Sorry, but is there part of this video missing? I understand how you made the fender and that's a neat trick.....but what about the part you attached to the fender? Didn't see any video showing how that was done and watched it up to the part where you're gluing the 2 pieces together.
thanks for the response..i am getting my blue prints for the plymouth,so when i get the drawing do i make it out of paper first,like you mentioned in the forum,,then use cut out styrene from my drawings,than start shaping with putty?i appreciate your time.
Just got to say. While I admire the craftsmanship here. This is now more of a model than anything I would put on an rc. I mean. I get the idea behind it being crashable But at the same time. You just put all that work into those fenders that as soon as you bump something on a test run or something you'll have to either remold them. (Wich I get wouldn't be hard due to the foam inserts.) Or break out the bondo. Lol. I just don't see the point in this. Adds weight. Adds damage. I think the foam fenders. Painted to look good. Would have been a better choice. Just my opinion. But all in all... awesome. Love the look. And excellent work.

what's the tool your using, there is zero damage to the aluminum.
This wooden tool with rounded edges is made for clay sculpturing.

Now if you took the carved fender and made a mold of it (a negative) you could put them in a shop press, you could stamp aluminum fenders like that

I made a video for this part, because it's the most tricky, next parts are shown in photos. There are a few solid body parts connected with screws.

Making a paper model is not necessary, but it will help to find inaccuracies.

It is an iron for snowboard waxing, I set it at about 120 degrees, but actually any heat source can be used.
