I am having a similar issue. Since everything was installed our keypad has periodically lost the ability to open the door, but could be reprogrammed. Now, in the last month it has lost the code 3 times. It, and the opener, are barely a year old. I have replaced the battery, same issue. Keeps losing the code. Somehow now it will open with the press of any button, but to close it the code is required. Frankly I think this product is garbage.

I accidentally reset my garage door opener, tried to reconnect the keypad. and now any button on the keypad opens the garage door. very secure.
