It's really hard for me to understand why everyone considers making reviews just by talking, without putting at the end, for at least a minute, a sample with the sound of the reviewed speakers??! Why do I have to clarify myself according to the words of another? The reviewer can has different tastes, different ears, and everything else different than me, and only the sound of the speaker can make me understand how it sounds. It doesn't matter that the sound comes through TH-cam, also through TH-cam I listened to dozens and dozens of speakers, so if some of them sound better to me through TH-cam, compared to others, also through TH-cam, this means that and in reality it will sound better to me than the others. Is it so hard to leave this much chatter and put some sound???
@@AudioAdvice Ok, but just telling me how you hear, and not I, to wonder if we have the same tastets for consider that I can hear with your ears the sound that I should hear it myself, with my ears from a loudspeaker, is completely useless, and this because we also have too many variables, all of them related by the differences between people tastes. I assure you that I can realise more better what and how about a speakers, hearing I the speakers, instead of hearing yours subjective opinion about them. I repeat, It doesn't matter that the sound it comes through youtube compression, as long as all the others heared speakers by me, came through same compression, so I can make the differeces with that youtube quality. Look at Tharbamar, an old reviewer on TH-cam, he talks as much as he talks, but in the end he put and a sample, there, with the specification to be listened to through headphones, and he is not the only one which make that. I believe that such an aproach would do much well.
This one was focused on the 600 series. You can reach out to our team at www.audioadvice to go over the differences. We stopped posting prices a few years ago. These videos are out for a long time and prices change. Some people would get upset with us when we would not sell for the price in the video. We always have the price in the link
@@AudioAdvice Thank you for taking the time to respond. I would think most viewers want to know how the 600 series compares to the 700 series. As for price comparisons, comments like "as of Jan, 2024" or "prices change so these are approximates" still give the view a general idea. Just my opinion. I do like all of your videos....thank you.
That would cost quite a bit more, but yes, more things are going that way. However there is a huge group of people out there with standard equipment who can upgrade to these. Thanks for watching
No offense but whenever I hear a speaker sounds bad with a bad recording because they are so great I laugh. This is the reason given the KEF LS50 sound bad. I bought a pair of them and if speakers are so grating on the ears with other than a good recording, maybe they end up.in a box like my KEF LS50 are. Metal drivers just make tweeters little gongs that ring. Anyway your B&W probably sound grate.
I just got the 603 S3's delivered. Utter trash. The tweeter is so overpowering you only hear snare drums and symbols banging in your ear. Do not buy. Again, you'll thank me later.
@AudioAdvice sorry but the more I listen to them, the worse they sound. The utter annoying tambourine noise in almost every song. The overkill on the tweeter that overpowers the other speakers makes these almost unusable. The more I use them, the more pissrd I get with Bowers and Wilkins. I want to chuck this trash out the window. I'll never do business with Bowers and Wilkins again....just trash them. They can keep my money. They must need it.
Great video! Love B&W ♥♥
Thank you!!
Additional questions to be answered in a review are how do these speakers compare to the 700's and other competitive speakers in their price range.
Feel free to reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss those points. Thanks for watching
I'm getting those on OCT 6th! thanks for your great review!
Hope you enjoy them and thanks
THANKS 🤗 HARRISON,FOR TAKING THE DEEP DIVE , AND SHARING THE PERFORMANCE BENEFITS…IMHHO… PROVING IT’S THE BEST TIME TO BE AN AUDIOPHILE 👍😎💚💚💚
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it
Is it time to upgrade my 607 S2? Or just stay with what I’ve got. Just upgraded to the Rega Planar 3 50th anniversary- which is amazing
I’ve heard both side by side. I don’t think the difference is worth the upgrade.
You would probably want to move up to a higher model than just the new version. Glad you are liking your P3 50th, that is one heck of a great table!

Thank you for the feedback. We don't typically share the sound over YT because there are too many variables. We will look into this for the future.

how would that even work?
@@kthsmprs Guess
Would a Yamaha R-N1000A provide enough power for the 603 S3 towers?
Chat or call our experts at audioadvice.com and they can help you determine that. Thanks!
Yes it will! The RN1000A puts out 100W at 8 ohms! Plenty of power!
hi, I have a b&w 603 s2, which amplifier do you recommend to best fit them ?
Please reach out to our team to discuss the best choices. Thanks for watching
I find it interesting they have not upgraded the ASW610 subwoofer you can newer ones for the 700 and 800 series of speakers
Yes, it has been around for a while, but is a great performer. Thanks for watching
I have a CM9 S2. Do you think that the 603 S3 is an upgrade or downgrade ? By the way, excellent review😉👏🏻
Those sounded very good, probably more of a sideways move. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice, might wanna edit the 🪵comment of how the center channel matches the timbre.. 😜😊
Haha, nice catch! Mispronunciation on our end 😳
I've always liked B&W speakers, and it is nice to see some of the technology from their higher end models.
Yes, that is very common with B&W in the way they filter down the higher end technology.
Love B&W speakers, & looking forward to giving these a listen!
We hope you get a chance to hear them soon!
Bowers and Wilkins always makes excellent speakers. I'm looking forward to hearing this new S3 line for sure.
They have made fantastic speakers for many decades! Thanks for sharing
The bookshelfs interest me but the small center channel makes it a non starter
It matches up really well, but some people will opt for a 700 series center. Thanks for watching
Sorry...I'd like to see a more direct comparison to the 700 series...and the price difference.

MAKE THEM ACTIVE WITH AMPS , DACS , DSP , STREAMER , THIS IS THE FUTURE !
That would cost quite a bit more, but yes, more things are going that way. However there is a huge group of people out there with standard equipment who can upgrade to these. Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdvice Thank you !
While these are great, Go for the 700 if you can and thank me later. It’s a huge upgrade. I heard both and it’s not even close!
That is totally true, but they do cost more, thanks for sharing

And no dedicated surround. Epic fail. Again.
You can always use the bookshelf units for surrounds!
@@AudioAdvice can’t. I have a sectional against a corner.
SHUT UP and play the speakers!!!
