How to improve your horses jump with a high armed X.Kirstin shows the benefits of jumping your horse over a high armed X to improve his jump. It helps him rock back and jump higher with his shoulders. It brings the horses whither, shoulders up and tightens the front legs up into better jumping form.
Horses need to do exercises to improve their jumping technique, it doesn't improve jumping single fences so it's important to do lots of grids and exercises.

I also have another great exercise for that . Both the tune up double and jumping a related line with the last element only , getting bigger and wider

Definitely can do it lower, I think the height of the actual jump should be slightly lower than normal as the high arms are what make the horse try harder

when i land i get a little bit unbalanced. I ride a young horse, she is 5 years old and she tends to be a bit unbalanced sometimes. do you maybe have tips for improving my landing
