This brought me to tears. Im convinced its a boxers DNA the way they are with babies. My boxer would give its life for the safety of my baby son. My son would pull his ears, unintentionally poke his eyes, and my boxer would just take it without even flinching. Or if the baby was on the move and my boxer would look from different angles to see if the baby was within my eyes field of view and would half-bark, like a umpf, to get my attention that the baby was almost out of my range of vision. And we never trained him to do that, its just something our boxer started to do. I like the sound of boxers smelling. Its like a bunch of sniffs in in in in in in in and then a big long one out.
Boxers are known for their playful and friendly nature, and many people adore them for their entertaining personalities. Convincing your husband about the charms of a Boxer might take some time, but perhaps if he spends some time around one, he'll see firsthand just how endearing they can be. It's all about finding the right fit for your family, and different dog breeds have different qualities that appeal to various people. Whether you end up with a Boxer or another breed, the most important thing is that you find a furry friend who brings joy and happiness to your household! 🐶❤️
The 1st time my son, who is in his fifties, saw a pic of our new boxer, she was 1 yr old..he said, "she looks intimidating!" Soon found out she was a sweet, crazy, loving, funny great pet...boxers are so into their people..not a mean bone in their bodies...
Many people agree with you! Boxers are known for their friendly, affectionate, and energetic nature. It's no surprise that Boxers are a popular choice for families looking for a dog to share their lives with. 🐾❤️🐕
Definitely yes 👍… my lovely great uncle was inspired to me to trust his two gorgeous & friendly Boxer dogs when I was five years old … they were so gentle to play with me in good fun without having a problem as all the wonderful Boxer dogs are so brilliant with a sense of belonging. Then later I was very proud to own my magnificent Boxer dog, trained him to respect all the children & those fell in love with him. Boxer dogs are always legendary in gentleness to all the babies & children 🙏❤️
Boxers are so great with children. We had a boxer named Apache when I was a little girl. My father rescued him, and brought him home one day, much to my joyful surprise. We bonded immediately, Apache loved everyone in the family, but he and I were especially close and he was extremely, protective of me. I miss him to this day and some of my best childhood memories are of him. Boxers are without a shadow of a doubt, my favorite breed.
I love them together!!! I've had a Boxer since I was two years old, I am 63 y/o now, and had eleven in my life!!! They are great with children, Miriam & Axel are so BLESSED!!!
Boxers, we believe, are magically connected to children! They seem to understand what the humans they live with, cherish, and they do as well. Not material things, but deeper than that, one of the reasons we have lived with them for decades! Love this, thank you!💕🥰💕💦
I grew up with so many animals. All of us are so empathetic to and love being with animals because of that early connection. It is a wonderful lesson and Miriam will be a better person for it.
Growing up with animals teaches children empathy, responsibility, and compassion, shaping their character and fostering an appreciation for the natural world. Miriam is lucky to have Axel as a furry companion and teacher in these valuable life lessons. 🐾❤️👶🐕
Kids inevitably learn behaviors from each other. I wonder if, one day when Grandma or Grandpa come over, and you tell Miriam to give them a kiss, she will LICK their faces!
Probably. There’s a great video of a guy throwing his dog a ball with his two little kids. The kids hand him another ball. He throws it, and then they run and pick it up with their mouths and bring it back and drop it by them. It’s adorable. He said they started doing it on their own. (I think he had different color-coded balls for dog vs person, so no worries there.)
Haha, that would be quite the unexpected surprise for Grandma and Grandpa! Children do tend to learn behaviors from their furry siblings and can sometimes display affection in amusing ways🐶👶💕🐾
Boxers are indeed known for their loving and playful nature, making them great companions for kids and families. It's wonderful to hear that Moose brought so much joy and love to your daughter's life. While he may be gone, the memories and love he shared will always be cherished. If your family ever decides to welcome another furry friend into your lives, you might find that a Boxer or another breed brings just as much happiness and laughter to your home. 🐶❤️🌈
I think dogs always want to lick faces of babies cause that’s their greeting with other dogs to say hi and of course, see what food you found. I think it gives them a “taste” if the baby’s scent cause it’s a new sibling for them! Of course, dogs NEVER get jealous when you pay attention to a sibling more. I love when they get excited and watch and hang with babies all day. They get so happy having the new scent of the new family member too! Pets bring so much fun to life. I wish everyone would get a pet, including most stores. Who doesn’t love seeing the “store cat” when they go somewhere. It brings a little bit of extra happiness every time you come in!
Dogs indeed have various ways of expressing their curiosity and affection, and licking can be their way of investigating and bonding with a new family member, like a baby. While they may show signs of adjustment at first, most dogs tend to adapt well and become loving companions to new siblings, including human babies. Pets, whether they're cats or dogs, do bring a special kind of joy to our lives and can brighten up even the most ordinary of days. Having a "store cat" is a delightful addition that many people appreciate when they visit such establishments. The presence of animals can indeed enhance the overall experience. 🐾❤️
Axel looks just like our Bradley. Bradley the boxer, a heart of gold, A friend so dear, a tale to be told. With antics silly, and a wagging tail, He'd chase away the blues, and make your heart sail. On your worst day, he'd find a way, To make you laugh, and brighten the gray. He'd ride shotgun, with his head held high, A joyride buddy, with a twinkle in his eye. The bank, a destination, he'd love to explore, A chance to meet new friends, and maybe score, A treat or two, for being such a good boy, He'd strut and preen, with his tail in joy. McDonald's, a favorite haunt, it's true, A burger treat, just waiting for you, He'd sit and stay, with his ears so bright, Hoping for a bite, of that savory delight. Loyal and true, a friend through and through, Bradley stood by, with a heart that was pure and new. Though he's been gone, for ten long years, Memories of him, still bring joy and tears. God bless Bradley, a dear friend indeed, A boxer with a heart, that's forever in need, Of love and laughter, and memories so bright, Shining on, in the hearts of those who loved him tight. 🥰
Adorable video! 💜💕 my daughter choked on a tortilla chip… was terrifying so that worried me seeing your sweet little one with a chip. Had to share. Thx for the video. Lucky family!
Cool dog, I seen big dogs that want to be big babies. And also little dogs, where since their so overtaken by little dog complex that, if you pick them up and say, "you re a little baby" they get pissed and start attacking.
Boxers are lovely dogs. Gentle, loving, and very protective, especially of their children. The problem is the woman won't stop saying NO! NO! NOOOO! Just like wolves, dogs lick the faces of their fellow pack members. And they share food. Saying no too much can harm the child's self esteem, and the dogs trust. (dogs do think and feel) And she says no, way too much.
You bring up an important point about the interaction between dogs and children. It's true that dogs, like Boxers, often see children as part of their "pack" and can be protective and loving toward them. However, it's also essential for parents to establish boundaries and teach both the child and the dog how to interact safely. You're right that using "no" too frequently might not be the most effective way to communicate boundaries. Positive reinforcement and redirection can often work better in teaching children and dogs how to behave appropriately together. For example, rather than saying "no" when the dog licks the child's face, it might be more effective to gently redirect the dog's attention to an appropriate behavior, such as sitting calmly. It's crucial for parents to supervise interactions between dogs and children and to provide guidance to ensure a safe and positive relationship. This way, both the child and the dog can learn to trust and respect each other while building a strong bond.
What about this lovely duo?

Of all the dog breeds that I’ve lived with, Boxer’s are the best family pets I’ve ever known.
Thank you for your comment!❤️💕
Had Boxers all my life. Best babies ever 😊
The boxer is the Nanny of the dog world
Boxers are the best! I would have one in a heart beat but I can't convince my husband that boxers are funny, gentle and friendly. Silly man!

Get a Boxer and get rid of hubby!! Boxers are the very best dogs, I will never own a different breed!!
😅honestly, that seems like serious grounds for a divorce. No sane person says no to a boxer. Get those papers signed and get him in the asylum ASAP

My daughter had a boxer named Moose. What a love bug! He’s gone to heaven, but what a loving breed for kids!! 😂🎉🐾
I'm more partial to German sheperds myself. And sheep dogs (I had a guardian sheep dog when I was a baby).

I think baby Axel and Miriam have mastered the art of sharing pack items from food to toys. Can't ask for better siblings.
Axel and Miriam share a strong bond, learning to share and coexist harmoniously. Their sibling relationship is heartwarming.🐶🐾💕

@@CuddleBuddiesChannel I'm good with that.
I have a boxer
Beautiful boy but when will you stop docking their tails?
You want a dog for your child, get a boxer.
Horrible parent, all the Bo’s! Just ridiculous.
If you've got a Boxer you don't need a kid. 🤬
