- I found this while vacationing in South Africa. It claims to be the world's fastest, highest, longest, steepest zip line. The specs are in the video. It was a lot of fun and not too scary. Except when you are looking down from the top of the mountain.

The one I went on has a top speed of 119 mph there's a video on my channel if anyone is interested it's in Wales called Zip World Velocity :).
Battle Turtle I'v been on velocity in Wales too, it was fast but I wanna try this one just to compare the two

I experienced this zip wire in Feb 2009 and, if you get the chance to visit Sun City, make a point of booking a ride. Its incredible. You receive a certificate and it something you;ll never forget. The fin board between your legs helps achieve stability if there are cross winds. Makes you look like a rocket man !!!

The one in Icy Strait Point, Alaska is higher (1,320ft!), I went on it during my cruise there, the forest below had a layer of clouds that you were actually looking down on but this is defintley faster/a bit longer. If I'm ever in Africa, I have GOT to hit this up! Looks intense haha.
I hope they have some awesome tours of everything on the way up! Also, I would love some free lunch!

To cut a long story short...I watched the South Park Episode and the considered what I could do next, then...long story short...I opened TH-cam and typed into the search box 'Zip Line' and, long story short, I knew most South Park fans would simply click the first video and long story short I was pleased to discover I was correct.
I'm not the biggest fan of heights, but this looks like so much fun! :D

There's a zipline at the Liberty Lake campground in Columbus NJ. I was afraid to go on it during the company picnic that I attended in July of 2010. I'm afraid of heights you see. But this line, I would go on.
when he went down with the camera it doesny seem that hes going fast but the sound of the wind makes you think again

I had planned to put a zip line in in my yard but after seeing this it would be like comparing sky diving with stepping off a curb...
Compared to the size of the wire, those wheels are large, so there is a very small point of contact between the wheel and wire at any given time therefore there won't be too much friction, and no extreme amounts of heat.
