I just did this and it was SO fun to do.. i hope you do more impressionist tutorials... its helping me loosen up on the brush and relax! Thanks and keep them coming! 😊
Yes, unfortunately watercolor brushes are too soft for impasto and texture painting and are not suitable for oils. The only exception is if you strongly dissolve oil paints in the medium and paint with them like watercolors. In general, yes, you need bristle brushes for oils.
If you can speak with your real voice I think it would be more enjoyable to watch and listen to. The AI voice takes away from the experience of the video and art, it takes away the human aspect. If you are mute though then I totally understand why you use AI voice.
@@Alex_Teal I think your audience would prefer it though over an AI voice especially in the arts. But it is up to you after all. I know it can be hard to put your voice out there for the first time. Keep up the great work! Your videos have helped be develop my style.

Do you have a suggested kit of materials, paints, brushes to start with?
Inspiring and so like Van Gogh. Are you using stiff bristle brushes? I only have soft watercolor brushes that seem to blend too much.

It won't be the same, but it will still be interesting. And skip the step with the first overall layer or make it veeeeeeery light.
