Normally use google pay, however I always keep at least £60 in cash on me as in 2022 i've been in two stores where their broadband wasn't working so couldn't use digital.
In my physical wallet (mag safe wallet) I have my Monzo, Monzo flex and driving licence. On my digital Apple wallet I have my Monzo, Monzo flex, first direct, and my loyalty cards
Surely the disadvantage of using sto card to store the loyalty cards in that once you’ve scanned a Tesco Clubcard for the cheaper price you’ve got to go out the app for the payment card whereas keeping them all in the wallet makes for a faster transaction
If you're phone is unlocked and you bring it to the reader the default card in Apple pay or Google pay will automatically be used as far as I'm aware. So it should be alright.
I have 16 cards on my apple wallet but is the maximum! I want to add 4 more that i have but it doesn’t allow me more than 16. Did you try to add another one over those 16? Ty
I might be wrong but I thought you could add any card that has a barcode to Google Pay even if it's not a brand listed, preventing the need for another app. Like you all of mine are on my phone with the most used debit card also on my watch. Don't carry a wallet, I'll have one debit card in my rucksack if going out for the day just in case but have a power bank for if phone is running low.
Really enjoying your content, thanks! Could you do a video on a good way to use 0% interest Overdraft (I use a NW Graduate account - up to £3k overdraft) to help pay credit cards and other uses for it. If you haven’t already please point me in a direction! Also, would be great to know which are the best banks to switch to as I also opened up another current account w chase. Great content! Thanks :)
Hey Andy! I’ve tried paying myself using the Monzo link from my Halifax reward card to get the £5 reward and it’s not showing on the track your reward progress. Any chance you could make a video specifically on how to do the transfer to get the reward?
I moved from down south to the Scottish Borders 8 years ago & up here some businesses will only take cash. So you would be shafted up here without cash. taxis, takeout, charity shops, buses nail bars. The list I could go on.
@saltyflour does the name Edward Snowden ring any bells? He is the guy who, in 2023 (over a decade ago now), revealed to the world that the NSA in America was essentially spying on and tracking everyone they could. That's what he means.
Hi Andy! Do you think a digital Yoti account and a physical Post Office ID useful to have always with us? I mean, are these valid and useful IDs? Thanks for all you do, I follow you from a while and your suggestions helped me a lot in many occasions!
Hi Andy just out of curiosity would you recommend getting a credit card 12 months before you plan on getting a mortgage to boost your credit score. I would mainly use this for daily train travel.
I always go out with Cash my backup is a card 😅

Just curious, why starling to withdraw cash? Why not another bank.
Because starling is his main bank
was thinking this, I would have thought it would've been a high street bank at least. Might be their interest rates or fees or something.
@@anaymakan6989Starling and Monzo are pretty good for fees and interest rates compared to high street banks
My Barclays cashback CC pays 0.5% on spending
